The Packers looked great last night. I just wish they would get the ball to Javon Walker a bit more. It was fun listening to the Panther they had wired for sound. "I had him! He's just so damn slippery"!

They made Carolina look pathetic. Favre was toying with them all night long.

1st week or not, several overrated teams are starting out showing their flaws.... KC, Carolina, Dallas, Baltimore, etc... should be interesting to see if these teams can correct themselves.

How do you get the idea to name your team the packers? They get called the
"fudge packers" a lot?

Not that I've heard, they are one of the most historically respected teams in the NFL.

The town used to either have a huge cheese or fish packing plant (I don't remember which), and that's how they got that name. Same with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Packers in many ways seem to personify how NFL should be imho.

KC wasn't overated in their loss, they were the supposed to lose by 3 points in Vegas, baby, Vegas!!!

But I would have to agree that Baltimore and Carolina need to do some team questioning of values, or whatever it they call it now a days.

Great game by the Packers. :)

Was I the only one expecting John Madden to run down to the field from the broadcast booth and attempt to suck Farve's dick? All the compliments for Farve were bordering on obsession. :P

I bet the under (44 points) on this game and I'm glad the Packers eased up in the second half. They could have easily scored a few more times in this game. They started clock watching and running the ball before the 3rd quarter had ended.

I'm not a Packer fan or hater so from a non biased observer, the Packers had this game well under control. We'll have to see next week Packers vs Bears, if the Packers are that good or Carolina sucks.

I really dont the Bears will give an accurate assessment as to the Packers quality. After all, the Bears did end Detroits 3 year drought of road victories

We will know a little more if the Packers lose! : )

Edit: The Bears are competitive like the Cardinals this year in that they will lose but should put up a fight.

Just heard that Mike Mckenzie is back on the Packers after his big holdout. Should make things interesting now.
