You mean people actually EAT spam? People that dont only eat it because its all they can afford?
Jesus, thought the ONLY acceptable use for spam was eating it when some pizza join put it on a pizza and you choose to ignore what meat it is.

People eat intestines, tripe, organs and all other forms of offal as well because they have acquired a taste for it. I guess spam (pressed miscellaneous hog bits) is no different.

Curiously enough, spam is a delicacy in Hawaii, where the cost of shipping fresh meat in is prohibitive. Spam is on the menu at many restaurants there!
