Are there people out there that are ashamed to buy condoms in a store?
You buy it from Amazon they must leave you a special treat *cough*loser*cough*

I'd be more concerned that they're "pre-tested".

I was reading a blog about this guy buying condoms and bitching about how it is a social pariah thing, and someone posted that you could buy them on Amazon, and had a link, so I hit the link because I thought it was BS, and then I noticed the Buy it used link and ......

I am a little bemused by the sheer number of types of condoms though also.

If a person is not mature enough to buy condoms in the store they shouldn't be having sex.

Actually I noticed growing up in America that the guys who were the worst possible ones for girls to be sleeping with bought them without a problem since they lacked all couth or embarassment. They also then tending to tell stories of their conquests, both real and imagined.

Buying them does not make you mature. Not being able to buy them makes you immature.

In this day and age there is little to no stigma attached to buying condoms that I can see. Safe sex = teh win.

Seriously, if you as an adult are uncomfortable buying condoms in the store you have issues.

Hehe, theres actually a comercial in denmark ATM that talk about used condoms.
This guy are about to make out with a GORGEOUS lady, and ask her "do i have to?". And he grab a VERY used condom from the drawer, and say "its because i cant buy a new one before i have used this one for 6 months".
The gimmick is that some cellphone companies sold cheap phones that REQUIRED you to keep them as company paying higher prices for 6 months


Think that people fear ending up in a Leisure Suit Larry situation if they go to a store to buy condoms. (and if you dont know what im talking about, youre too young anyways .)).

I liked Jake Johanson's standup bit where he was saying that he had broken up with his girlfriend but was still buying condom's because he didn't want the girl at the convience counter to know that he had stopped having sex.

But jesus shit, what if my mommy saw me in the store buying condoms???!! And then while I was walking out of the store my girlfriend sees me drop the condoms and she was currently thinking she wasn't ready for sex.... OMG the possiblities are endless, thank you amazon and thank you buy it used feature, you've saved me a many of times even if they were stretched out a little too thin.

Embarassing Truth Moment:

So I was 16 and went to buy some condoms, and I talked to the pharmacist, had him get them, paid for them and went to leave. BEEEP BEEEP BEEEP HONK HONK HONK Lights and sirens went off, seems the foil they come in triggered their new security system.

Since then I have been a little shy about buying them, but I still would if I needed them.

I don't understand the embarassment for buying things like condoms, dousche, tampons etc...

Condoms = getting laid
All feminine products = obviously not for me

i never paid attention when i would ring up tampons unless it was a new kind

I dunno why people get so embarrassed... I have no problems buying that stuff at the grocery store. I even have my hubby buy pads and tampons for me when I need them. He even knows what kind and how many to get me!!
