NFL Training Camp Notes

Post by Winnow »

I see there's still not much useful info coming out of the camps!
From Carlton Thompson of the Houston Chronicle: "The Texans' acquisition of [tight end] Mark Bruener looks better and better every day — and not just because he's taken to the team's offense like Ricky Williams to a bong."
Patriots quarterback Tom Brady attributes his ability to stay healthy to his lack of size: "There's nothing for me to pull. I'm serious. I can't pull a muscle I don't have.''

Packers had a Family Night scrimmage on Saturday. 60,216 people showed up to cheer them on. That is devotion.

Over 41,000 showed up for the Lion's only public practice yesterday, compared to 22,000 last year.
