Broncos > Raiders
Raiders may have a damn good offense, but their defense is laughable

Who cares about the AFC West? It's all about the NFC North...Go Packers!!

Go Chargers. This has to be their year. Even with 5 turnovers today, they won. That has to mean something.

Raiders Raiders Raiders !!!! As all the "sports casters" are saying it is the AFC West that has the toughest division this year. I was watching last nights game and just loved the fact that the Broncos LOST in the final 10 secs

. With San Diego in 1st this week , well they have their 15 minutes of fame. The Raiders have TOO much talent in the linup now. They just need to get a little more focused. They totally underestimated the want and desire of an 0-5 team. The Rams simply Outplayed the Raiders yesterday. But with the toughest schedule in the NFL , the RAIDERS will prevail !! and Maybe during or after the superbowl that Rat Bastard Al Davis will have a heart attack and Die. Rant off , Have a great day everyone

even though it may not be the most solid pick, I chose SD at the beginning of the year as my 'go all the way' team.
I like pulling for the non #1 teams.

Raiders are kicking ass except for yesterday when Gannon (my fantasy football QB) screwed the pooch with 3 fumbles and 2 int. But like it was said earlier...GO PACKERS!

Yeah, it means they got really lucky against a sub-par team!

I just hope the Saints don't die off in the playoffs. I honestly think the Saints are the strongest team in football at this point. they even handed the packers their ass.

Yea, but the Saints lost to *snicker* Detroit

Its funny how you look past a bad team and get spanked. Happens just about everytime. Raiders losing to the Rams is a great example. Another big test for the Saints this weekend vs the Niners!

Everyone laughed when I bet the Rams yesterday.
Hell, they laughed when I bet Pittsburgh too.
WHO GOT THE LAST LAUGH, BITCH!?

My Vote is for the Chargers!! Just crossing my fingers on no blow up this year.

How could you not bet on the Steelers against the BENGALS?
0-6 for the 5th time in the 90's or something like that... they're really bad. I bet half the college teams in the top #25 could beat or give the Bengals a run for their money.

I think that the Raiders are gonna be tough to take the West from, but Denver may have the D for the job.
I'm just stoked that Miami finally has a running game. Only got around 70 all-purpose yards Sunday, but 2 rushing TDs, so he got it done when it counted. The defense looks great, so phear the Fins!
I went to see the Tampa Bay game over Cleveland. Bucs fans make their games more like a college game than any other pro fans I've seen. Literally ACRES of people tailgating, pretty much everyone is wearing the colors, and loads of chicks dressed for the heat
The Bucs defense is still the most exciting I've ever seen. No boring, prevent like a lot of cover-2 bases, they blitz a LOT, and the line is really good.

Don't feel too bad. Tim Couch is a stud-in-waiting. Unfortunately, he's waiting for an entire offense to show up. Lots of work to be done, especially on yer O-line. Warren and co. got so intimate with Tim, his mom is having Sapp's baby!

Fuck Couch, Kelly Holcomb is the man. Playing against the Ravens WITH A BROKEN LEG is the most admirable thing i've ever seen in football. Fucking shame they lost that game though.

This is the Bucs year, best chance they will EVER have at winning it all. Its now or never.

With the shit that is the AFC this year, the Bengals 0 - 6 is only 2 wins away from the #1 spot.

Holcomb is a strong player, but I don't think he has the consistency or potential as Couch. I think he's a perfect 2nd stringer
Browns have been screwed over too many games this year so far.

The
real question is: what zoot suit will Deion make Boomer Esiason wear?

Welcome Aneron, you

I still have faith that the raiders will come back and win. I have to hope that because I have Gannon and Rice on my Fantasy Football team and they had better do no wrong.

I think the Eagles defense is the most exciting and interesting to watch in the league. While it may not be the best, they have a hell of a blitzing scheme, and a few guys who can just deliver crushing blows.

I am biased, being born and raised in Denver. I think the broncos are the best balanced team in AFC West. They need to get Sharpe more involved in the offense though. Final record will be 11-5 or 12-4.
Raiders are strong now but all that age is going to catch up with them like it did last year. I still see them making the playoffs but only as a wildcard. I see them at 10-6 or 11-5
KC's defense is just way to porous although their offense is very fun to watch. They will have a lot of shootouts but in the end will end up maybe 8-8 or 9-7 at best.
SD is really a crap shoot. Ladainian Tomlinson is a beast but people are going to start stacking the defense against him more. Drew brees has shown a lot of potential but I think he is a year away from greatness. I don't think that he can win a lot of games with the load placed on his shoulders. I see them at 9-7 or 10-6.
Any way you look at it, this conference is going to be the funnest to watch when the end of the year rolls around. I am not sure yet who will win it ultimately.
I have lived in Wisconsin for the last 12 years now and I must say the Packers have the best fan base of any team in the league. If you ever drive through Green Bay on game day then you would know. Everyone is into football there. It is a fairly small city with no other major teams. Go Packers!!

Chiefs > Bronco's. Just wait till they dont have the last ranked defense in the league.

Yeah, maybe there should be a new poll. It's a shame that Oakland hasn't been able to win these games. It should be a really exciting game on Monday night though when the Raiders go up against the Broncos.

I was all set to go with Adelrune on the Chargers getting in, but jesus christ what the hell happened this last weekend? I think Denver is going to win the west, purely because they will make the least mistakes down the stretch, but they need to get some real confident play out of their QB if they are going to do anything in the playoffs. Denver has a lot of division games left and their non division games are all against weak conference teams, giving them the edge. Raiders, well, they are falling victim to having old players and a green coach. Until Al Davis dies, they are not going anywhere.
I agree the AFC West is interesting to watch, but I don't think it is the most competitive in football. Now that all those teams no longer have Seattle to pad their records with, its fairly obvious that what you have are a couple above average teams with streaky offenses (Raiders, Chiefs) and a couple of balanced teams with some QB stress issues (Chargers, Broncos) with Denver chugging along pacing themselves for the playoffs. I think the AFC East is a lot more competitive, with only one crap team. New England is slumping, but they always make a run in December. Miami is banged up, but still have th best defense in the AFC (even if the Pack diced them alive Monday). And Buffalo makes everyone who plays them nervous.

The Chargers had a really rough week. I think it was those Powder blue uniforms. Lets see what happens this week.
