Was this the game that was supposed to be on ESPN tonight? Guess I won't watch it. This is a disgrace.

Can the Allen Iverson quote be far behind?
"We're talking about exhibition. We're not even talking about the game, the actual game, when it matters. We're talking about exhibition"

Gotta love AI.
Although you have to remember that these guys haven't played together that long... hopefully they will get the whole team defense thing down before the olympics, one on one they are superior, but gotta play that zone in international play.

Actually AI seemed reasonable after this loss.. he accepted the fact that they needed a wake-up call and that they needed to realize that it wouldn't be a cakewalk.

Good for Italy.
Serves the USA team for thinking they can just walk over them.
Italy has pro leagues too! ( yeah, maybe its not the NBA, but they do have people that play basketball for a living )

There's zero chemistry with the USA team this year. Greece was a horrible selection to host the Olympics even before 911.
In the spirit of competition, the Olympics should go to the country with the highest GNP every 4 years at the time of selection. Seems fair!
