There is no Florida school in the top 4!

http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=1849109

Three Pac Ten Schools including #1 USC in the top 25.*

Arizona State also received one vote if you look at the very bottom of the poll! : )

Florida schools have really been getting OMGIAMRETARDEDCAUSEALOTISTWOWORDS of bad publicity the last few years. Add that to the fact that they lost some big name coaches and they are in trouble recruiting wise. No parent wants to send their kids to a school known as a drug users haven.

They will still be competitive but they need to clean their image up a bit.

What is the over/under on those 6 teams combined losses to MAC schools this year?

By the way...I am going to go ahead and predict the upset of Michigan by Miami of Ohio. Michigan has no QB, no RB, and a shaky O-line. Miami has an unbelievably fast secondary and linebackers....and they return their best receivers and RB's from last year. If this game was in Oxford I would be putting cash down in Vegas on it.

yes Miami cant get any recruits.

only like 20 first round picks in the last 4 NFL drafts :p

polls this time of year mean jack shit.

wasn't it that at least one major publication had Auburn at #1 last year. spring practice hardly compares to live action.

If Brock Berlin doesn't completely suck(and he will) Canes will be in the mix when it matters.

Ron Zook has gotten better recruits than Spurrier ever did. Chris Leak wasn't exactly some unknown high school kid who turned into a great QB overnight.

Having a guy like Coker at UM gives them a lot of credibility they'd lost in the past decade in terms of players behavior. He's a great coach who also seems to be interested in his kids as more than football machines.

Only Fatty at FSU may be having some difficulties, mostly beacuse his "don't ask, don't tell" policy on his player's character issues. The juvenile offenders he does manage to keep in the program usually produce.

That's one of the more ridiculous claims I've ever heard, so I'll address that comment one issue at a time. (I can't believe I'm actually defending Michigan against a fucking MAC squad)

Besides the fact that the offensive line is returning an all-american guard and an all-big ten tackle, Michigan churns out NFL-caliber offensive lineman on a yearly basis. The year we have a 'shaky O-line' will be the year the Lions win the Super Bowl.

The starting RB position is up in the air at this point, but only because they have so much talent that they don't know how to use it. Underwood, Bracken, and Rembert could start for most D-1 programs, but my guess is they'll give the start to SO Jerome Jackson. Incoming FR Max Martin was one of the top RB recruits in the country, but he'll probably get redshirted.

As far as QB is concerned, Gutierrez is twice the QB than that sweaty-turd, John Navarre, could ever hope to be. He's got a stronger arm and he's infinately more mobile. Besides, he'll be throwing to the BEST (yeah, I said it) WR crew in the country. You could put Sylvus under center and he'd throw for 3000 yards this year.

That being said, I am wondering who is going to put up more of a fight: the Redhawks, or the Buckeyes.

If you put Sylvus under center, he would fumble every snap as he would never take his hands off the center's sack.

Hey now, I was a center for a bit in high school.

I prefer to have my sack handled, thankyouverymuch!

Big Ten should get spanked in the Rose Bowl this year unless the bowl alliance screws the matchup. I'm not sure how that works these days.

No way! Penn State will win the Rose Bowl!
