Sudden? Have you seen the guy? He was in 'The Score' with De Niro and Ed Norton and he looked horrible, and that was a few years ago.

Yeah, he's really lucky he lived to be 80 considering how out of shape he's been since his youth. It still sucks he's dead.

As he went older, he went crazy. He prolly told the Grim Reaper that he was an errand boy sent by grocery clerks to collect a bill. The horror... the horror.

Anyone remember the name of the movie he was in with Val Kilmer I think it was.. where he played that doctor..

He didn't get really out of shape until his early fifties(age-wise). That, most likely, had to do with getting few to zero roles through the entire sixties. He went from being a youthful icon to an aged on powerful supporting actor to a bloated "lead", to a quirky dead guy.

It would be interesting to reverse the lives of James Dean and Marlon Brando with Brando being the one to kick the bucket early.

What? You're calling Brando the best actor over the course of several generations? He mumbled a lot and had the barely audible godfather voice down but I dont' see him ranking as the greatest actor of many generations.
