my shout out was more to people like me who had to drive an hour to work so we can get out at noon and drive an hour back home

Can you really call it a work day? The majority of the people around you were suckers and took a vacation day. You go to work and mingle with the few other people in your area and don't really do any real work. Your supervisor is gone as is their supervisor so there is no one to police you. So you get basically a laid back day, you get paid for it, and you get the pity from those who had off because you sacrificed yourself to stay so that they could leave. Gotta love these days.

I tell ya, it's rough rolling out of bed at 0750am and making it to work by 0800am!

That morning commute to the head for relief and the kitchen for coffee is a KILLER!

I'm actually working today and it sucks! well... right now I'm posting while waiting on a quote for Verita Global Cluster Manager but in a few minutes I'm really going to have to work... and it sucks!

It does suck shit to have to work today, but at least I had Wednesday off.

Well, had my Fri and Sat off as usuall.. and not back to work on the phones..ugh. I really hate tech support...Ok, I really hate PEOPLE...the job wouldn't be anywhere near as bad without the people that come with it...

Of course I had to work the 4th and didn't get to go do anything exciting.. oh well..everyday's a holiday with enough alcohol, right?
