Why do cycling and soccer threads get more activity than any others? This is cockamamie! I demand that people begin starting NCAA/NFL threads, forthwith!

We have too many pansy ass four uh ners cruising this forum. They love sports as gay as soccer and hockey. At least football training camps will be starting soon and we will have something to actually pique an interest.

I figured it was mostly because of foreigners and women reading the boards who can't appreciate a real sport like football. Thanks for clearing it up!
I eagerly await real sports starting up again.
P.S. The University of Michigan will defeat USC this year to win the National Championship.

Michigan won't even win the Big Ten. TEH LION WILL RISE AGAIN!!!
Seriously, this year is a pretty big one for Ron Zook at UF. I can say with certainty that just sniffing the ass of the SEC title will not be enough. We
must win the East div. and beat FSU, or win the SEC outright if we lose to the Criminoles. Otherwise, Zook and company can pack their bags.

Dogpoop > Canes.
Football is good and fun, both the European original kind and the American kind. Cycling is ok. Basketball is ok. Hockey sucks ass. Baseball is more boring than watching grass grow under 5 feet of snow.
There! The opinions of a foreigner!

I'll be cranking up the NFL talk around July 15th. Expect to hear a lot about the Cardinals whether you want to or not!
On the fantasy side of things, my draft is a little early this year due to the members of the 10 teams being busy and scattered all over the U.S. it was hard to find a good time for it. I'm flying up to Las Vegas for the draft party mid August.
I'll have one month to find the next Chad Johnson to grab in the late rounds.
Denny Green is predicting a 10-6 year and playoffs for the Cardinals. NFL oddsmakers in Vegas have it more like 6-10! : )

As long as there aren't 5 people posting to each thread, 'X sport sucks, because it isn't like football!' I don't really give a fuck...I stick to my threads and they stick to theirs.

I am refering to the training camps where the teams have the players training for 3-4 months. This is where you get the first looks at the rookies and new players that each team has signed. There are still players being cut and signed....and everyone holds out hope that some big name will get cut or demand a trade and comes to your team.
You also see some injuries start happening and some arrests for drugs or murder. It all shapes the power of your team and your division....and of course affects you even more when you are looking at players for your fantasy team.

I am extremely stoked for Football. Unfortunately we only got tickets to 1 game this year. Packers vs. Lions on Dec 12th. I hope it snows...a lot.

I don't doubt that the Cards
could be one of the most improved teams in the league next year... but they have to do something about RB. If Emmitt gets more than 10 carries a game, he'll need a walker by week 3. It's time to hang up the cleets, and follow Barry into the HoF.

Hell, Im pumped about the football season because the Bengals are finally back on national television. Two nationally televised games for the perennial trash heap of the league. One on Sunday night. One on monday night. Chad Johnson will get to do something stupid that people can watch live instead of on Sportscenter.
Bring on FOOTBALL!

It is going to be weird seeing Corey Dillon with another team. However I think Rudi Johnson will be great.

I predict the Longhorns will be in a situation to play for the national championship but will choke against a lowly ranked/unranked team yet again this season!
But anyway, hook 'em.
Oh yeah, and Favre will lead the Pack to the Superbowl this year. Rawr!
