Another Car that is in the early 30's (actually the car i am buying). Is the lexus IS 300 . It is a bit lower than the g35 on hp, it being at 215 and the G35 at what.. 260 i think. But I personally liked the looks outside and inside more. Won't get too specific .. but - also lexus has a great warranty on their new and used cars that is included in the price of their cars - as long as they are certified.

evo's are like mustangs ... you see em everywhere i think the subaru thing is ugly ... get a car that everyone and their mother doesn't own

I drive a SLK 230 Kompressor at the moment.. i would recommend a Mercedes more than a BMW (although 7 series i wouldnt mind) just because they drive better, they are so smoothe and comfortable its a dream to drive.

unless you make like $150,000 and have absolutely maxed all your various tax deferred investment options, buying a $50K car is a great way to waste money.

G35 Coupe is $32ish K not 50 And after having driven it again.. omg.. such a nice car..

The remodeling of the Accord in 2003 makes it an even smarter purchase than it's no-fail past. It even inspires as a driver car regardless of whether or not the thing has zero scheduled maintainance(the impeccable reliability factor) until 110k save an oil change every 10k(what they recommend, seriously!).

However, I've heard great things about the G35 save what Consumer Reports says about the back end sliding out when pushed too hard(even w/ it's rear control). It's certainly not as if you're throwing 45k down on a Park Ave and watch it turn to worthless shit because noone under 40 wants it and noone over 65 wants one used (I guess they rather sail on the highway w/ new and jaunty components).

Regardless, if I'm ever in the position where 50k cars aren't too big of a deal for me, the 2005 Acura RL remoldel looks very nice as does the Lexus GS(300 or 430 really, and the 2005 version is a nice upgrade supposedly) or LS. They carry prestige w/ their excellent drivability and sloth-like depreciation.

How the hell they manage that is beyond me. I floored it with the traction control on and it barely started spinning before it kicked in. However, if the traction control is off you will have the rear end sliding all over the place. Funny as hell, but not real practical

That said.. I love the new Acuras except that I hate really strong engines and front wheel drive I am a sworn rear wheel drive person for sportscars.

You are insane if you don't go test drive a Corvette. They are the quadruped of Jesus.

Vettes are, however, a true sports car. I certainly wouldn't want one as my daily ride.

An ex gf drove the old Vette ('95) and I drove it quite a bit. Nothing wrong with that as a daily driver, and they have gotten a LOT better since then.

Then the SRT-4 would make you happy. 13.9's stock from the 2004's. $20,995 base price...which is pretty much fully loaded.

That's what I drive, but mines not stock...End of next month with a proper driver mine might be capable of 12's. I don't drag though so I don't know what I personally could do with it...I'll find out this summer.

I think Xzion is leaning a little more towards the luxury side

Get over your discrimination of the Neon. The cars chassis has come a very long way since it first came out, and SRT-4 is the best HP/dollar value out there.

So was the Dodge Shelby Omni Horizon, but people didnt run out and buy them in great numbers. They were still a Dodge.

My friend bought a Porshe Cayenne last year, the first year they were available. It's beyond me why he paid 73K for a SUV but the thing is hella fun to drive around in.



It also happens to be the best performing SUV class in the XBox Project Gothem 2 Racing game! hehe. Sometimes I feel like I'm in that game while my friend is driving. This car has serious pickup when passing on the freeway. Besides being in an SUV that can blow past many sports cars, I don't see the need for it. He upgraded from a Mercedes SUV which was also nice. I just don't get spending that kind of jack on a car but a bonus is he always wants to drive which works for me!

I won't argue that. It's an awesome vehicle for performance but I just don't get why he bought an ordinary looking SUV car even if it is a Porsche. It looks like anything else on the road.

The G35 is a godly car.
