Pros:

1. Can use epic on runspeed immune MoBs

2. Can stack multiple druid epics on one MoB

3. Less resists

4. Reduced aggro

Cons:

Please fill your response here. I am at a loss. Maybe you have to mem ensnare now? Not sure on that one because I always have ensnare memmed when I am on crowd control anyway due to epic resists, casting time, 3 minute duration, and increased aggro. I am honestly curious why anyone would believe the negetive outweighs the positive.

Druids that dislike this change should have to carry a sign around Norrath that says "I do not know shit about my class"

Snares don't stack
Dots didn't stack. They do now, why can't snares?

IS THAT SO HARD?! AM I ASKING FOR THE WORLD HERE?!

i could care less honestly. But someone mentioned how impossible it would be to fix that. And it's already been done in one way or another.

As far as Pixies and Nirvana.

Mast I agree with you. Nirvana was(is) amazing.

But I do believe the Pixies belong in a category of their own.

Kurt was known to do a Pixies tune from time to time ;) That has no relevance to my point, just random factoid I PULLED FROM MY ASS

You spelled the word 'hour' wrong. It's 'hour', not 'lvl'. Thanks.

Thread back on track. Go me!

'Daft Trollop' is the coolest thing I've ever heard btw. :D

Truant,

Can't stack snares because they class as a debuff.

Imagine allowing multiple cripples, etc to stack?

Posted: September 10, 2002, 2:05 pm
by Xouqoa
If you could stack a 50% snare and a 70% snare, would the mob start moving backwards at a 20% movement rate?

Cause if so, I'm all for it.

hehe really tho why does it matter to you all that your band is better than my band etc etc? peeps have their preferences, the argument will never be won by either side, so go listen to ice ice baby or something!

Multiple snares that stack==root that doesn't/can't break early. Not going to happen.

"Ye daft trollop" would have been better though, ah well.

I'm not bashing Leelee, I've always gotten along with her pretty well despite her thorns. /shrug

With very few exceptions, the 80s and early 90s were a complete waste of time musically. In most ways actually, but I digress.

Calidore begins to cast a spell...

An A Umbrous Toiler is ensnared with Bonds of Force!

You tell Calidore, "Dude, WTF!? You're fuckin' up my kite!'

Calidore tells you, "Soryr man, didnt see it'

You tell Calidore, "That's ok. Next time try to... hold on. Is it just me, or is that Toiler moonwalking?'

fuckarded Pixies > fuckarded Leelee

it was only popular music that sucked in the 80s, well, popular music and some of the unpopular music that was fuckarded up. But the good music in the 80s was good. Also true of the nineties, the good music was awesome, but suck music was suck.

Fuckered up beyond all recognition.

Don't know Leelee, Don't know Pixies, Like Nirvana, but Tenacious D is greater than all.

Maybe if I heard something by the Pixies I'd remember them. Someone list a song or if they have more than one hit, more.

for some pixie related history type stuff if you decide you like them.

the main guys is Frank Black, he has some solo stuff out now.

Kim Dealy was a member of pixies and has since fronted The Breeders to much success as well I think she was involved in Belly.

For some incredible melodic construction, go about 1:35 or so into Alex Eiffel

Posted: September 10, 2002, 4:11 pm
by Voronwë
If i recall correctly, Kim Deal wasn't in Belly.

I only saw the Pixies live once, but they were great.

hehe Alec Eiffel...reminds me of a lot of cool albums that came out around my freshman year in college. Obviously, Trompe le Monde, Pearl Jam "Ten", Smashing Pumpkins "Gish", Black Crowes "Southern Harmony and Musical Companion"!!

thanks for the mp3s.

just a suggestion when you rip, go at 128Mhz. your files will be 3 times bigger, but the sound quality will be worth it.

Posted: September 10, 2002, 4:18 pm
by Rikk Wolvenkin
yea i thought i had ripped those.. not sure where my ripped ones went.. i think those were just shitting downloads i got somewhere...

The only one there that is decent sound is alex eiffel ( i found two of that one, one was shitty and the other good, replaced the shitty one, so you might need to redownload), i'm really confused as to what happened to all my rips.

Your right though, my memory was fuzzy. Tanya Donelly was in The Breeders with Kim Deal, Tanya Donelly was in Belly later on. Tanya and Kim formed the breeders together, coming from The Pixies (Kim) and Throwing Muses (Tanya).

The most familiar source of a Pixies song most of you will recognize is...the end of Fight Club when the building blow up. That is the Pixies.

I like the word fuckered btw.

Well I'm no Dr. Seuss, but here's a poem for ya Hayley!

Soft and gentle like a flower
Cybers eight guys every hour
Uses men like they were tools
Till they're left looking like fools
Sweet like chocolate, a great big dollop
Oh that Leelee, what a trollop!

Sorry dude, but those 2 lines imply that Leelee possesses some high degree of guile. But hey, you needed a pair of lines to rhyme. Can't fault the creativity here!
