that's not really my point. all I'm saying is why can't you look at a sexy woman and not be overwhelmed with some desire to objectify all women in a sexual manner. it just annoys me when I see that kind of "all women are sluts" mentality just because we try and look good.

A. I don't think all women are sluts. I just wish they were.
B. I don't look at a sexy woman and get the desire to objectify them. I just wanna get laid.
Women control sex. That's why guys are always chasing it. If guys controlled it, then women would chase it. You always go after what you want but can't have whenever you want it. Especially something as fun and satisfying as sex. It's really not that difficult to figure out.

in real life?
No, I don't think a person should objectify all women because of pictures like these, but I'm not going to tell you it doesn't happen. And no, I won't try to convince you there isn't a double standard in the fact that men like to look at porn, but expect women to behave and dress in a "ladylike" fashion. I will cede that point.
But then, isn't it also true there is a double standard among women? Some women enjoy teasing men with their bodies, yet others complain when men give their bodies attention. I think Drewno was touching on this. Some people would look at this picture and think women are being objectified by it. Conversely, there are people like kyoukan (and myself) who can appreciate the picture for what it is, a beautiful girl, and leave it at that. It goes both ways, among men and women alike.
Neither sex is without their stereotypes and generalizations. Men may do it more, but this is probably due to the more unabashed and vulgar (see black bee reference) way we tend to express ourselves... /shrug

Men always want it, so they only get it when the woman wants it too.

Where do you see this mentality? I don't know anyone that looks at one skank in fishnets and a halter top, then pinches a nun on the ass.
Men treat women according to how they present. If you wear a ho's uniform, expect to be offered some tricks.

I think the key word in her post was "all women"
unless I'm misreading, her concern is that someone will take a look at one person and stereotype the entire sex

Well said, Zaelath.
People get judged by appearances. Walk around without pants on, folks will get the wrong (or right?) ideas.

Because I was responding to the statement "To the women who have complained about being treated like objects... This is why" like it is every woman's fault that britney spears takes her pants off every time someone points a camera at her.

yea, I spose if drewno was saying men can justify objectifying all women in general because individuals choose to dress or act a certain way, that's wrong
I think I got ahead of myself

Because what i actually wrote (Not the 20% that you quoted) covers that basis?

By no means did I ever intend to insinuate that treating women like objects is a good thing. I'm just saying it happens. And it happens, in large part, due to women who act like nothing more then objects - Like Brittney Spears. That is all.

You can't get naked and expect to get by without being objectified because you just can't.
That's they way the fucking world works ok?
On the bright side you get the attention you wanted and if your a chick men probably threw money at you.
