I'm surprised no one has mentioned the scene in Reservoir Dogs where Mr. Blond goes all psycho on the cop tied to the chair and slices his ear off. That scene was rather intense.

U-571 was the SUCK. Everytime anything got hit by anything in that movie, it would blow up as if it had been hit with a nuclear weapon.

I think the 3 best are...

#1. Beautiful Mind
#2. AI
#3. Seven

"A Beautiful Mind" wasn't a thriller.

And you found... AI... INTENSE!?

Who let this fuckin' n00b into my thread?

never said anything about a thriller ... that wasnt the topic... AI was just really intense because of the situation... trying to take a robot who has feelings into a family weird... then he spent the rest of eternity looking for them when they left him. A Beautiful Mind was brilliant and intense.

Watched this one last night:

Zombie - This doctor's wife on the island is trying to barricade a door. The zombie starts pounding it in. He gets ahold of her hair and SLOWLY pulls her head towards the jagged wood splinters. We see this nasty wood splinter getting closer and closer.... then it actually penetrates and goes about 6 inches into her head and then breaks off. Nasty stuff ;)
