I got very little pleveling really, did a lot of my levelling the "normal" way. Cazic groups in the 20's, was so much more fun than when i was there on Ganos.. what a hell hole it was when rubicite was in.

After Stridar retired he would come back on and we would talk every now and then. I bought most of his rubicite gear from him (for shits and giggles), but refused to pay 20k for the fucking bp.

Hammerstalker and Canoe. I was level 2 and they came to BB to guild tag me into The Small Chaotic Gods of War, and equip me in bronze! They were level 35 or so and uber as shit.

I still remember seeing in yellow type, "Herzog has defeated Furor in a duel to the death", way back when I was a noob... everyone in the zone was talking about it. I didn't run into any FoH for quite some time, level 18 or so... they were badass when I did finally see them around FP.

Hell, even a little over a year ago I was in the arena and dueled Kreugen. After I looted my corpse, I dueled Furor... I still remember what Furor said just before we dueled, "You don't want any of this." After I looted my corpse again, I walked out of the arena thinking, damn they are uber. Somethings don't change.

I thought most of the old Legion crew were really uber the first time I saw them. I think Scelero, Elquin, Wandering and Varia came up to help Eudas on an Inny run and I was amazed to see my first mage epic, was the coolest thing to see at the time. Vernal had a guise, right? If not I'm thinking of someone else...

I don't know if many of you ever grouped with him, but Salis was a machine when it came to necro damage output in an exp group.

He'd pull out a pet, charm a undead NPC, juggle them both while dumping the damage.


Another skill player that I enjoyed grouping with was Strumms. He could milk a bard for everything that it was worth in an exp group. I felt safer with him in a hairy mez situation than most any chanter.

Strumms owns, he's a joy to group with. Chardok pwnage!

Yea Chardok with him was great, him and Krurk.

I remember meeting and hunting with Warlot back in my early 20's in South Karana.

He was the only warrior I knew who had full crafted and an Exe Axe.

At the time I had very little crafted, mostly bronze. My friends jokingly said I looked like a cheerleader for the Florida Gators, heh.

I was lvl 6 Ranger and sitting in front of Felwith, when all of a sudden this guy <they called him "the pope" > came running out and siad join him he was going to buff us with "grp" buffs..LOL I was like OMG!!

He had just gotten Heroic Bond

Name was Sladen and he was ALL purple..

Elderan is a cockmaster, Stridar was pretty cool. Sean and Janx I still like. Of course, Sylvos is the sexiest.

Played since release but on Veeshan since August that first summer I think it was. Creediki was always my Bardic idol (played a Bard back then), he was insane. Taladar was one of the nicest people you would ever meet. Krimzon is also high up on my list of people, and I will never forget the war you and Faramir arranged. That was one of the highlights of my EQ life

My first encounter with true uber was when I was lfg in L Guk and a bunch of FoH came in, invited me to join their group and tried to outpull each other. We died to a monk monk ranger cleric pull...

My first xp-group with Eschaton in Sol B was pretty kickass as well.

Vaerd was a total badass when Kunark came out. When we used to have LCY groups in Karnors, he was one of the few bards who could keep 4 drolvargs mezzed at a time.

running through liveside, 100 people in guk coming into the moat around live tower from the direction of the noble and bump into Sean full TV, Guised, etc etc. Like many people before have said.

Love him or hate him, Sean was the definition of Uber back in the day.

Hehe I remember when Vaerd played a mage with the same name :0 I think he rerolled as a bard shortly after Kunark came out though.

Playing with Eschaton was always a blast. I have never seen an enc pull 10+ mobs at once and have everything under control. I helped him and a few other FoH farm VP keys at Kaesora and the 5 of us would rip through the zone in no time. Until I broke rule number 1....

hehe yeah i remember having a kickass group busting down to disco, and we get there, and Eschaton is fucking soloing the room.

soloing that room back then was pretty badass hehe. we were all pretty blown away. But i also saw him lock down a fear break by himself with 9 total people, he was the man

yeah, i think i was about lvl 8 in EC when i saw...i think it was Drozzt running towards NFP with a custom helm....i thought it was teh coolest thing evar, then when luclin came out and normal plate helms looked sorta custom on darkies i was the happiest SK ever

No problem Pherr. When I was a newbie someone gave me the axe that drops off Lord Darish. From then on I'd often go to Gfay and pass out weapons and armor that I had gotten and didn't need, which is probably why I was always so poor lol. Every now and then I'd sell stuff when there was a specific thing I needed, but it was just something that I didn't like to do. Later when I saw you in Sebilis and you told me that it had really helped you and you still remembered me it made my day.

The first person I really thought was uber was Azuth (more recently known as Berelain). I asked him for a port and he gave it to me, then a few days later I asked him for another and he simply told me that he was fixing to gate up to the plane of hate so he couldn't. Then he told me about poh and I was in complete awe. After that I was determined to level up and join OG so I could experience it.

It's one thing for someone to say you're uber.

But to personally post about how uber you are?

freeport arena days were some of the funnest by far. I remember me and Souldinkou killed juctice in the arena once.

Very first would have to be Blaren and Axhine (originals)

First time I saw those two they were ripping up Unrest with full bronze armor and ghoulbane, and rescuing people from the hag's charm left and right. Course, it helps that they were dorfs. It was definately weird later on when the new Blaren was begging me for shit at every turn.

Other people I can remember being impressed with early on were Vertous (was always overly nice to me it seemed) and of course Koraf/Kalaran. I was pretty bumed when Vert/Hresstan left ;/

don't remember exactly when i started playing, but aslanna comes to mind as a sort of role model. destroying all the guards in wfp (or was it efp) dast was maybe lvl 6 or so and i'd never seen anyone take on 7 or 8 of those guards that could kill me in 1 hit
