Every guild knows they can kill any mob if they have the members. Obviously it all depends on having the right people on at the right time.

all that matters is i KNOW my guild and resurrector's guild have ability...both guilds have done more with less...

Ok, we don't have to call it "zerg". What would you call 160+ active members? At least going by the latest rosters. I mean we have to call it "something." Maybe we could have a new thread where people can submit creative names. Wave of Lag or Death by Numbers... Things like that. Sounds fun!

fact is: our "zerg" will level out due to natural attrition and we will end up with a VERY solid and focused raid force of dedicated players that log on every day and WILL make it all the way through plane of time and beyond

Or it will level out because people get tired of being in a huge unwiedly organization where they have a chance for loot like once every two months. If the two guilds individually weren't able to keep that level of dedicated players that log on every day I'm curious as to how it will be any different together. Guess it gives us bored people something to speculate on at work. I mean hey if it works for you that's all that matters in the end.

What i don't get is why ASSlanna even cares. i mean Soverieng is Legion/Ixtlan

Not that it really matters, but we only have 6 players in Fiends that used to be in Valhall. In fact, we have more from Farstorm ( 13 or 14 ), - Fiends is really just the "guild" incarnation of Fiend club, led by ex-FS/ex-valhall. The majority of the guild is it's own, not some other guild. So you could say - FoH, Valhall, PD, Fiends -- Estrella's missing but hey, we don't include team JPN on these forums anyways!

Aslanna has plenty of room to talk. The difference? Oh, just about 55 people maybe. You ever been in a zone with an ixtleg/sovereign raid? Trust me, it's not quite near the 100 man marker, and they don't end up having to make more than one /raid~

Pravus is not absorbing Farstorm and Farstorm is not absorbing Pravus. We are two guilds. We will stay two guilds. Outside of raids, we do our own thing.

The roster might be a little deceiving. We probably have 50 people who log on once a day. However that is at various times, not all of those people are on at our peak hours. We (Farstorm) rely heavily on our two boxers. So, while our roster may say we have X number of "Active" members, your definition of active and ours is two different things.
We are still what we consider a family-casual guild.

Legion and Ixtlan started raiding together mid-velious. At the time, both guilds were significantly smaller than most of our competition. We realized that in order to be competitors we needed to recruit heavily or form an alliance. I'm not saying that PD/FS is much different, except that they might already have the numbers. They aren't very small guilds here, like we were back in the day.

I'm not flaming them, really. If you read my last sentence I even said "I mean hey if it works for you that's all that matters in the end."

It's an honest question as to why anyone needs those sort of numbers if they have the leet skillz to do "more with less" (haha!). If they are counting on "attrition" to land them at exactly the numbers they are looking for it seems like faulty logic to me. You'll never be able to see an exact comfortable number online all the time for very long.

As to how they are different? Oh, about twice the size I'd say.
