Was very nice to see OMGIAMRETARDEDCAUSEALOTISTWOWORDS of people from the Boston and San Fran Fan Faires again...and to meet so many new cool ones too!

I think i found elf girl, seems she was hanging out in Afterlife's suite.

I just got back.. I'm beat. Was a pleasure to meet everyone in person, you're all a great buncha folks.

I'll get my pictures developed this weekend and try to put em up soon.

Was amazing fun! Was great to meet you all! I know I didn't get a chance to say by to many of you. So SEE YAAS! Last things I recall are:

After that it's a blur with a bunch of lights and some blue fellas!

Has anyone given thought to throwing together a slideshow/video with soundtrack for showing off this large database of photos?

What do all the photographers think? Any objections to myself(or anyone for that matter) doing this? I can see there being many creative ways to pull this off.

If I ever get the free time, I'm gonna make a flash slide show with all the good juicy pics that everyone will want to see. Lynxe said I showed put the "Baby Got Back" song in the background.

So, it's taken me a while to get all my impressions of Fan Faire and Vegas sorted - I'll still probably be nowhere near coherent, but shrug.

To start off, let me say that I had a fucking blast. From the day we arrived at the hotel, there was some sort of silent agreement that anyone from Veeshan who showed up was a cool person - and guess what, they were.

Sylvos decided to start me off by buying me one of the vilest drinks I've yet had - my brain has blocked out the exact ingredients, but I seem to recall an aftertaste of mango juice, peach schnaps and something not unlike urine.

And from then on, things went downhill.

Much of the weekend is a blur to me, not because I was so fucking toasted (hey, we all were), but because there was so much to process.

A few flashbacks:

Being told by 49 different people that I am far too tall to play a dorf, and that speaking with more of a Danish accent would help me pick up chicks.

Too many hugs and smooches to remember (<3).

Walking through the casino singing "Lean on me"

Watching Sylvos' face when he was presented with a $400-something bar bill in Quarks thursday night.

Hanging out with Arbor and The Newfs (tm) at some lame casino bar at 6AM.

Watching Brittney representing. Watching 20 people waiting with their cameras for Brittney to represent - and being blinded by the flashes when he did.

Lynxe headbutting the wall in Quarks (mean wall!)

Aranuil unleashing his "charm" on the gogo dancers at the Hilton Night Club...

Finally meeting the weirdest collection of people gathered in one place; my friends - Jeff, Jeff, Jeff, Jennifer, Jennifer, Jennifer, Eric, Eric, Jason, Jason, Joy, Will, Noel, Owen, Cynthia, Melissa, Dustin, Justin, John, Cristin, Dianna, Tex, Vinh, Channing (brother!), Allen, Elyse, Steve and any I may have forgotten. You guys FUCKING RULE!

So, what'd I bring home with me? Nothing substantial, really - a dent in my bankaccount the size of Grand Canyon, an abused liver, a sort of Pavlovian milisecond hesitation before I touch anything (h8 static electricity), the knowledge that Vegas smells like a mix of cookie dough and antiseptics, and about 25 new friends.
