My 8 year old Braun cordless finally spent it's last charge... it's dead and won't recharge for me, so I have decided that I would give one of these a try...

I was in WalMart yesterday and bought one... It's still in the package, because I don't feel like shaving today, but I will eventually be forced to lather my face and take it for a test drive...

I bet I'm gonna like it... $12.00 is a lot for a disposable, when my old Braun cost less than $10.00 a year to own...

It has a standard AAA or AA (forget which) battery that you can replace. It's perfectly fine to shave with it in the shower and you have no reason to fear being shocked by the current it creates unless you are a fruitfly or something smaller.

I have a Braun Synchro and the M3 Power does a much better job I think. It's a closer shave, and was much faster to use than the Braun.

The only thing that sucks is that I spent $100 on the Synchro 2 years ago and now I'm debating not using it anymore. >< Maybe I'll eBay it or sell it to Ahmik as a replacement. ;)

I'm glad I got the thing for free. I feel it shaves better w/out the motor on which means it's really just as adequate as their turbo. I knew to be wary when they described the difference between their two razors as "perceptible".

You just have that baby face Zoocow! I got the Synchro this year and love it. If I want a really good shave though, I use the Synchro and then hit it up with the Mach 3. No way could I just use a blade. Having a heavy beard and really sensitive skin is a curse.

The Synchro works great to shave the head too!

Ok, I tried it this morning...

Granted, I had 4 days growth on at the time, but I was not at all impressed by the shave... to me it was only slightly better than the shave I get from a cheap disposible Gillette that comes in a bag of 10 for 4 bucks....

This I can say with absolute certainty: I'll use it until both cartridges are dull, then I will buy a new Braun to replace the dead one.

Thanks for the offer Xou, but I'm not into used shaving products... that's like borrowing a pair of underwear from someone...

All razors suck with more than a day or two of facial hair growth. Clog city.

edit: actually single blade razors with a metal bar work the best for longer growth beards for me at least as they don't jam up.
