Ok fellas so get this, yesterday I attended the asian languages picnic at ASU n this relly kute japanese exhcange student was there n stuff an i was weatin my terikyaki but it was a big piece of it n i only hap chopsticks so i was sittin there stabbing it trying to cut it ns hit n she was totally laughing at me n then she took my cnhopsticks and cut it for me n smiled and stuff that was a great day for me ebcause she touched my chopsticks lol i almost had sex

Ill be the only one who thinks Sylvus' first flame was uncalled for or atleast was overboard. Most of you guys are just jumping on the bandwagon for no reason other than to make yourselves look a little better to the majority, that is far too easy and shows how weak some of you are yourselves.

Anyhow, give Pils a fucking break guys. I know this is VV and flames are far from rare, but it gets so damned old and un-creative when you pick on the same person over and over and over for stupid little things like this.

He would get a break if he deserved it. He got himself into this, he himself keeps posting stupid things which he knows will be flamed etc. Plenty of people have posted explaining to him why he gets flamed, yet he ignores it completely. Personally, I think he gets some sick satisfaction out of the attention.

Keverian, I do not agree with your assertions. Pilsburry has showed himself to be, time and time again, largely socially inept, and devoid of a normal sense of humor. I disagree that Sylvus' leading post was in any way out of line, as myself, and a large number of VV posters have grown used to, but quite tired of his inane posting.

I don't think Pils is a particularly bad person, but his inability to post without either A) shoving his foot in his mouth B) appearing mysogynistic and/or prejudiced OR C) bragging has been repeated countless times.

This behavior has been repeated enough times to establish a pattern and a specific reaction. Many people have given Pils very specific advice on his failures to express himself in a manner which reflects positively on Pilsburry, but he has chosen time and time again to ignore such advice. It is for this reason above all others that I have absolutely no sympathy for him.

Finally, I have looked at the set of pictures 2 times total, and they are not picutures that I would ever consider masturbating to (since you brought it up) largely for the reason Dregor posted.

The bottom line is that you, and others, don't like Pilsburry because he lives his life in a manner which you don't approve of and don't find socially acceptable. You are, of course, entitled to feel that way. However, you cannot justify insulting every last thing a person says because "they're socially inept" and you "have absolutely no sympathy" for them. At some point, you have to accept that Pilsburry is the way he is, and leave it at that.

I'm not taking what you said personally, but I don't agree with what you said for a variety of reasons for that reason I'll respond briefly to a few of the points you made.

1. I can give specific examples to justify my stance. I don't really feel that's necessary.
2. I don't care how he lives at all.
3. I do not 'always flame him', nor is there anyone else currently posting on this board who I 'always flame'.
4. I agree that VV would be less interesting without him.

Perhaps the phrase "how he lives his life" was not worded as well as it could have been. What I meant was this: people, youself included by your own admission, feel that it's okay to flame Pils because "he's socially inept" and other such reasons. You might not flame him every time he posts, but someone always does, and that is what I was addressing in my post. There is a general attitude on this board that it's okay to flame Pilsburry regardless of what he actually says, because he's Pilsburry and therefore deserves it.

I saw your post as an attempt to explain why it's okay to flame Pilsburry based on who he is as a person, rather than what he actually posts. If this was not the intended purpose of your post, then I apologize for misinterpreting it.

I simply feel that if people wish to flame Pilsburry because they don't like him as a person then they should go ahead and do so, but they shouldn't bother to try and justify it. The only justification for some of the flames directed at Pilsburry lately is being an asshole.
