do you seriously believe it's over imaginary weapons of mass destruction?
I don't think it's a revenge war, but I think it's very popular in the states because of the current hatred for islamic people who are generally lumped all into one category. the fact most americans can't say saddam hussein anymore without blurting "AND OSAMA BIN LADEN" right after like trained animals is testament to this.

I think it's mostly about stabilizing the oil supply, and I'm fine with that.

I wouldn't say most. There are plenty of educated people that don't hate Islam or it's followers.
However, our country is going to war with Iraq. While we may not like it, all we can do is support our troops who have no choice in the matter, and hope that the conflict is resolved as quickly and painlessly as possible.

this stupid shit in iraq is nothing but a muslim bashing vengeance trip. you aren't fooling anyone. the us wants revenge for 911 and they are pointing the finger at Islam.
Wait a sec... I thought this was all about an oil grab. Bush and his Oil cronies trying to get their grubby hands on more mideastern oil.
No No. Wait. Its a family affair. Redneck Dubya Cowboy Bush is doing this because Saddam tried to kill his daddy when he went to Kuwait.
Make up your pathetic little mind and pick one!

Are you really a Scientologist sir? I had to do a paper for my World Reigions class on a religion that was different from how I was brought up so I decided to do Scientology, and I went to one of their sunday services.. it was pretty odd going through the processing. They just sat us in a room and the minister read us the Creed of Scientology and then started the processing which was just her saying "look at the chair, is it real? make it real, make it unreal, make it too real, make it comfortably unreal" etc, etc for like 30 minutes... my head went numb at the end heh.
Then we watched some introductory movie about Scientology which seemed to me to be a really bad attempt at an infomercial for L. Ron Hubbard's books.. then they went off on a really weird tangent about goverment mind control and how they were trying to steal Diantetics from Hubbard for their own uses. The end of the movie fucking blew me away though, the guy said something like "You could leave this room after watching this movie, and never think about purising scientology again... but that would be the stupidest decision you could ever make, you could just as easily throw yourself off a bridge or blow your brains out."
I was like.. wtf (( I went into the movie room after the processing acutally thinking that this religion had something to it you know.. and it probably does, but seeing that movie totally killed any chance I had at taking Scientology seriously.. it was out there.
edit: btw i'm not h8ing, just sharing my experience (

I'm sorry to disappoint, but I'm not really a Scientologist. So you can hate on them all you want, dawg.
My avatar is a joke, much like my old Avril avatar. Bless her heart for being such a good sport about it!

Yes. And if you had been paying attention, you would note that the price of crude dropped this week, right on the eve of war.
Why? Because the conflict in Iraq is having a ver minimal effect on oil pricing. The settlement of the strikes in Venezuela were a hell of a lot more important to US oil supply.

OPEC countries like Saudi Arabia upped thier production of crude in the past few weeks in anticipation of the increased demand and market uncertainty.
