This got turned into a CD/CoE thing, because Kilmoil derailed it into a "Start shit about CD/CoE thing" with the comment on who's leading who by the dick? I know CT would probably like as a collective, to see any other guild but themselves have troubles with FoH but when you have to drum it up like that, it loses its punch entirely.

forthe we never stole any tactics and you know that. apostate is RL brothers of tehom and good friends with most of the people in CD/CoE, he gave strats voluntarily as he is our friend. theres a big difference. stealing strats would be like if xanu hacked into someone elses msg boards or chat, not that he would do that.

it takes OMGIAMRETARDEDCAUSEALOTISTWOWORDS more than just reading of strats anyhow. we likely wouldnt be able to kill mobs like HP on a first try but its not hard to get better tactically if you just try mobs out and learn from them. leadership and good players are more important, maybe focus on that if you can put the jealousy of being passed up by CoECD behind you.

HP died on a first try because of flawless execution from a group of very good players, and thats exactly the reason we are doing so well on every other mob we try.

If you think killing a mob is just about using a template, there is no wonder your having problems Forthe I am not surprised this thread has been hijacked aswell, you guys are suffering from something near an obsession.

Both the abillities and composition of CoE/FoH differs widely. We'd be daft to use the same strategies as it would be utilitizing what FoH are good at, not what We are. With all the spoiler information regarding mobs, if it was as simple as using a template I am sure both we and other guilds would get OMGIAMRETARDEDCAUSEALOTISTWOWORDS more kills under their belt.

Guilds like FoH are trailblazers. They reap the fame and rewards for being so. CoE/CD are nothing like that, the costs are too high and we leave it for those better suited. There is already a number 1 on this server and we have no aspirations to compete for that title.

Apostate brought information regarding mobs with him when he went back to CD, how could he not? However much of this information can be glanced from spoiler pages or be gathered ingame, just as we loose members to other guilds, we gain some and often it results in added knowledge for both guilds. Soon this information will be outdated.

While all guilds use the information they can obtain to their best advantage and its funny to observe how the same "theme" for killing certain mobs is passed down. Examples can be of the AoW, you will see CT using the same basic technique as FoH when attempting, and the same basic technique of basically very other guild trying him. Most guild with a little sense will adapt despite the lack of initial originality. Sure they will still attempt to acquire as much information as they can (like CT attempt to glean information from others prior to trying Tunare), but its really what they use that information to that matters.

Information does not secure a victory, as both ours and others many many tries on AL proves. It IS power, but ascribing the joint effort of many people all having to cowork mostly only serve to insult your own and others intelligence. All it gives is an edge, an edge that ANY guild frantically search to obtain for every encounter. And any person for their char. How many people here read the safehouse, raise your hands

For your information we killed both AL+HP with 50ish, we look forward to your first AoW kill with no more than 50 people

Although this speculation is in trend with the thoughts you raise, I fail to see where you find it? Apostate is a decent person if I ever saw one, I'd appreciate it if you based your speculations only on actual knowledge Not a flame at all, just my honest opinion regarding this matter.

Leyor you are so full of shit. To win any fight in EQ there are very few things needed...healing, damage (edit: add attention and good net connections) and a strat.

When you truly learn mobs on your own you can die numerous times to them, often not even coming close to victory. Then you find the right strat for the mob and then find it easy. It took me ~4-5 deaths to shei, now we can't loose (bet we loose next time now lol). I've gotten ~6 deaths in to AL, think thats all I'll have. I have 3 deaths to AoW because we never get a chance at him (and one of those was at freaking 8am after a late night tunare). I figure I'll die 2^3432 more times to BB ring. I'm positive I'll die a few times, maybe tons, to HP also.

I now understand the pride FoH takes doing this, even before there is any common knowledge out there. I give them even more props for the determination they show. We tend to make 1-2 attempts, call it, then 1-2 attempts another day.

No offense Leyor, but I have found little info on killing strats posted on mobs as AL, HP, Emp, and beyond. Anyone posting these publicly would be tarred and feathered by their respective guilds.

Information or a template as you designate is all about winning. You can be a powerhouse with equivilient gear as say an FoH, but w/o solid strats and know how you wouldn't be able to kill any mob percieved as Hi end. Knowledge is power pure and simple. A first attempt kill on HP is nothing but knowledge and could not be achieved without prior know how.

Your blowing smoke here and you, me, and the rest know this. Even with this knowledge it was still a very impressive kill none the less. You are in a fortunate situation being recipients of such knowledge and thats not a bad thing. Just don't come here spewing we da powa comments and just face the fact Apostate was a huge benefit on his return. For CT it's more trial and error making us earn it the hard way. Thats not a bad thing either just time consuming...)
