Underworld: The Awakening

Post by Bubba Grizz »

I went to see this over the weekend even though I feel there is no need to put 3D into a movie. I feel that 3D is just another gimic for the industry to make money on the same shit they had put out previously. I don't feel it enhances the movie enough to be worth paying the extra money.

The movie itself is alright and it does leave room for yet another sequel. I don't think it was as good as the previous movies but if they are intending on making more of these then this is a good launching point I guess. The basic premise is that the Lycan and the Vamps get discovered and are being hunted by humans to the point of genocide.

If I can't find a 2D showing I don't go any more... though I'll continue watching these while Kate continues making them.

Well this is what I did, and I feel a lil dark side here, I bought a ticket for Man on a Ledge which started 15 minutes previous to Underworld. I brought my own 3D glasses with me. So I bought my popcorn and then went to the Underworld movie instead.

Hah, I don't see any issue with that.

Though by wanting a 2D showing I meant I don't like the "experience" of 3D movies. If I wanna be walleyed for 2 hours I'll go drinking.
