Best flame ever...

Post by miir »

Regarding 'Slammer SQL' and all the Monday morning MS haters .

A spectacular flame.

Gratz, man, I had to register just to fucking rip you apart.
Anyone else imagine those dudes from the commercials "Now you can get your diploma at home, with many exciting careers to choose from: Paralegal Assistant, Medical Transcription, TV/VCR Repair, l3#t hX0r"

Seriously, I got a big boner too when I was in the dorm room setting up my friends alpha (woah GIGABYTES of THROUPUT#!#!), but nothing like the cold hand of reality to bitchslap you when you realize there's a big bad world of people who are *fucking geekier than you can imagine* who are coordinating billion dollar networks.

That shit *REQUIRES* MS.

I understand that because you used a brute force "pr0gz" and reset your registration key via the built in customer service "reset your registration key" option in order to "total onw SP-2" of your XP home that you think Ms is fucking clueless and shitty, yehh "my mediaplayer rotating dragon skin doesn't work" and I suppose that's a fair assessment
if you can't fathom what adults do when they leave you at the nursery but holy christ please shut the fuck up.

Can't you realize that there is an old boys network of 50 year olds with silver hair that use IIS to rake in 2-commas $bling, bling, bling.bling? Trust me, for every Jethro Tull fan who had diarreah because his gift-basket distribution site he bought from eBay got hax3rz there are a dozen 4 generations of men with a hyphenated last name sipping Poggio all'Oro on a yacht laughing at you.

If you had the right friends in highschool/college (and spent less time playing Magic:The Gathering with your bi-wyccan girlfriend) you could have easily started a b2b/b2c enterprising comp. based solely on repurposing *NEARLY* off the shelf MS products with a healthy dose of smaller apache-ish solutions for the homesector side of things.

Please, next time you need to pool chemical shipments from 87 countries and send all of the CEOs and their wives a "You are cordially invited to wire my Zurich acct." note explain to your client the nuances of how your /cgi-bin/web_countr.pl is rulest...

...sigh... people talk such SHIT.

The 'virus' that was delivered on the weekend attacked a flaw in MS SQL servers.

Whenever there is an attack that exploits a security hole in a MS product, all the MS haters crawl out of the woodwork.

People who scream that all MS products are shit.
People who think that *nix is a viable platform for enterprise DB and Web servers.
People who think that large corporations use Apache for their web based enterpise solutions.
People who think they are 'leet haxors' who know more than anyone else because they can install a retail *nix distro by themselves.

Basically, morons.

Idiots who don't realise that these hackers who make these 'virii' aim for the biggest target to get the most publicity.

Heh, that was a damn good flame....

...and now to slightly hijack the thread... So Aranuil, you're finally publically admitting to your new ranger toy? :D I think your title needs to be changed from Wannabe Ranger to Wannabe Tank.

Speaking of rangers....

I dusted off my Ranger on the weekend.
Made in the first 10 minutes of EQ he was retired years ago at level 40.

Got him geared up, and did some twink powerleveling and hit 45 last night. Fun as hell.

He's been in my sig for about a week and a half. :)

Rangers now >>>>> Rangers back in the day. So many toys to play with, not hard to control aggro, a bow is actually a viable weapon. I can't wait to start racking up the AAs. :)

Yeah, MS probably cried a tear when your clients couldn't get their RapSnacks to all the ghetto folk RapSnakcs represent (I myself fully endorse Master P's "Platinum Barbeque" bcuz it's just like EQ's Platinum OMGKKTHXPLZ mom put these on top of the shopping list!)

Do you understand what we mean by scalability?

Brazilian orphan-smugglers selling children's organs: small scale.
Kosovo Kuties ORgasm at gunpoint: small scale.

Ok, ok, that's unfair, like I assume what your parents think life is since you came out that way... when you are squeezed do you deflate?

Anyway, this is all about scalability. I can guarantee that IBM's mgmt. aren't called 3 times a week because their client's customers are getting choppy "Multiple W.O.R.M.G.A.S.M.S. Caught on tape" vid feeds... ooof ow, god's hand is black and bitchslaps another back into reality.

YOR SERVER = CRAPY IBM
IBM is lame they've never been to sleeper tomb

sorry can't resist this...

Are you calling me stupid? I dumped thousands of annual dollars from my company's IT budget and increased their uptime 10 fold and I am idiot? go back to highschool little one.
WOA! THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS?

Oh shit now they can afford
ENTERTAINMENT ROBOT AIBO

Raise the roof!

This guy is killin me...
