I love watching Republicans

Post by Xyun »

These guys are absolutely shameless. They are self destructing worse than Democrats, and I mean that as a transcendent insult. If there is any silver lining to this oil spill, it is that these cock suckers' black souls are exposed for all the world to see. And the funny part is, there might be even more of these wackjobs in November. What kind of a fucking moron takes the side of an oil company over the president considering these circumstances? A Republican, that's who... Talk about unpatriotic. It's so sad, it's funny.

It is because they are politicians. All of them are looking for a way to win and they will use any and everything they can to drive public opinion. In elections, facts are meaningless. All you have to do is have a public perception and people will use that to form a basis for their votes. Look at a lot of the issues that are headlines right now....do you think any of them have serious bearing on day to day life? Hell no. Just look at Arizona right now...the voting public in Arizona sees their state government (aside from Brewer who literally may be an idiot) pushing immigration reforms and it will buy them votes in November. The Democrats have a history of ignoring the public when they have the numbers in Congress and end up getting long runs of GOP control because of sheer stupidity.

Well at this point at least the democrats are willing to give me a reach around.

The republicans don't have that courtesy. The big bowl full of stupid that is FL politics will have me voting for a democrat this time around.

The tea baggers don't seem to comprehend that they aren't voting in their own interests long term.

Wind is God’s way of balancing heat. Wind is the way you shift heat from areas where it’s hotter to areas where it’s cooler. That’s what wind is. Wouldn’t it be ironic if in the interest of global warming we mandated massive switches to energy, which is a finite resource, which slows the winds down, which causes the temperature to go up? Now, I’m not saying that’s going to happen, Mr. Chairman, but that is definitely something on the massive scale. I mean, it does make some sense. You stop something, you can’t transfer that heat, and the heat goes up. It’s just something to think about.

I think that's just a plot to make intelligent design look plausible as science by comparison. Fuck me.
