Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

I saw it recently and I must say I rather enjoyed myself. You can tell the kids are getting older. I hope they can hold out for another movie even though dumbledoor is pkirl.

I dunno, never been a big fan of the films.
I think I share Cartman's sentiments
Kid: What are you doing?
Kyle: Playing Lord of the Rings, what are you doing?
Kid: Playing Harry Potter
Cartman: HAHAHAHA, FAGS!

I enjoyed it and am looking forward to the next film which should be better.

I'm a total literary snob, but when a respected coworker confessed that she had been reading the books and that they were actually well-written, I decided to try them out. I saw the first movie before I started reading the series, and liked it enough to further my desire to read the books. The books ARE well-written and I am now a Harry Potter fiend :)

I'm curious to know if the director for the 3rd film has been chosen. Columbus was only OK (and I know that he is not directing #3) and I'd like to see a director with a tad more style direct what I consider the best of the series. I heard rumor that Speilberg had a desire to direct it, being as he liked the mood of the 3rd book best.

I only saw most of the first one and it seemed very....dumbed-down, I guess is the best word. I can see why kids would like it, but I couldn't get past the feeling I was watching a remake of every 80's Witch-themed halloween live-action special.. Maybe the second one is better...

Alfonso Cuaron is suppose to direct the 3rd movie. He recently directed Y tu Mama Tambien and Hart's War. Haven't seen either movie so no idea what kind of a director he is.

I'd like to see Lynch or Aronofsky(spelling wrong i believe) direct the third film.

Would make it quite interesting
