Sin Episodes

Post by Winnow »

What's up with this game? It's coming out May 10th. It's based on HL2 engine I assume.

Anyone know much about it? So far I've seen people complain that it's going to be episode based with 6 hours of gameplay per episode at 19.95 each which will run you $179.00 if you want the entire game...that's a bunch of moola for a game.

I'd hit the second one she looks like natalie portman.

I won't lie I'd probably rub one out to the game model too. 8)

Grrr, was going to respond to that with a pic from a joke website i saw once, where you could get CD drives with build-in vagina pumps, but just spend 30 min looking for that page, but no luck :(.
Someone go find it :)

The original Sin was an awesome game that was overshadowed by the Half Life juggernaut. I'm looking forward to this game.
6 hours of gameplay per episode at 19.95 each which will run you $179.00 if you want the entire game...that's a bunch of moola for a game.
Well, HL2 was about 15-20 hours of gameplay for about 3 times the price... or another full price game, Gun which was barely 10 hours. Sin Episodes will also include online multiplayer modes which will give it added replay value.

Actually Gun was 9 hours for me, including doing all the subquest but the last few poker ones, and that i only missed because the last 5 or 6 missions are 1 unbreakable arch, didnt know that when i started it.

Oh, and add F.E.A.R, 12 hours of game, 4 different monsters TOTAL, and a girl ripped off from The Ring.

Would people prefer a game that's free but you have to log into an online server, even if it's a solo game, while playing it that charges $1/hour?

There are games where I would have gotten more than my money's worth for $1/hour (Gun) and others would have put me in the poor house (Any/every Civ, every MMOG and Morrowind).

Lol and I am the stalker?
When I was younger, I used to think that the world was doing it to me and that the world owes me some thing…When you're a teeny bopper, that's what you think. The SiN models are actually really awesome. ;) We spent the last E3 evening with them and some of the Ritual devs.

I have the game (boxed version) but no internet access yet, so I can't install it. Fuck Steam! ><

Be sure to install the patch that was just released... it fixes some major issues with the dynamic difficulty.

did they fix it so it doesn't feel like I am ice skating through levels and make it so it doesn't run like I'm trying to play a turd I squished into my hard drive with a broom handle?

If only they spent the last two weeks of development actually finishing the game instead of greasing up low rent bondage models I might not have lost interest 10 minutes into the game.

Ok Kyoukan I really thought I was being hard on you so I sent all your post to my Wife, Kids, Mother in law , father in law. My garbage man, 2 homeless guys downtown, all of PETA and the Lazy Oak old folks home and it was a landslide they all said you were a bitter cunt.

More like `97-ish. Some interesting ideas, bland gameplay.

Sin came out about a month before Half Life around oct 1998.
It was a really fun game that got great reviews but was completely overshadowed by HL. Like HL, it used a heavily modded Quake engine and had a lot of new and original ideas and some great voice acting. It also had some cool multiplayer modes. My favorite was the rocket bikes.

It was also a terrible (almost unplayable) buggy mess with ridiculous loading times and frequent crashes on release. The publishers rushed to push it out the door before Half Life. It was nicely patched up a few weeks later.
