This brings up a good point (for me). Recently seen a lot of people make mention of anon = not posting with your character name, or presumably your char name in your sig. I realize that it was mostly because these people were not only "anon" but were flaming, and as such were hiding behind an unknown identity.
Well Corona is obviously not my character name, as it is a trademarked item and thus couldn't make it through EQs name filter. I didn't choose it for the sake of anonymity, it just happens to be my nickname at work - a play off of my last name.
I'm not much into flaming people, I generally try to be pleasant and engage in intelligent and entertaining conversation. Is that going to be enough to continue being accepted here, or should I pony up and put my character names in my sig? They aren't particularly impressive as I'm a self-branded "casual player."

I probably should. I've been using this sig for a LONG while now. I had been toying with the idea of switching the names on my chars and use the Rask name on Ani but decided against it since only a handfull of people that still play know/use the Rask nickname (Any having the name on anything other than a gnome is just downright silly=P).Bubba Grizz wrote:Are you going to change your avatar? Personally, I only hate anon people when they are posting inflammatory stuff and won't back it up with their name. It's nice to know who everyone is, though... but we only harp on the anon trolls.Corona wrote:This brings up a good point (for me). I think I'll do that when I figure out a nice format for it. I'd like one of those nifty pictures like Xouqoa has for Aedari!Voronwë wrote:Corona: you could always put your char name in your sig as well.
