Brought this movie home from work the other day, and watched it.. Very strange movie to say the least.

Its about a man, Don Johnston play by Bill Murray, and his search for his son that he just found out he had. Its a type of dramatic/comedy, and very slowly paced, but the movie is decently short. I don't want to spoil much about it, since even talking about this movie can kind of spoil it.. all in all its a good watch and the ending is very strange, but good i guess..

Give it a watch.

Just watched this last night. I enjoyed it OMGIAMRETARDEDCAUSEALOTISTWOWORDS. Bill Murray is great in this, and the movie also has quite the supporting cast, including Jessica Lange, Susan Stone, Frances Conroy (Six Feet Under) , and Julie Delpy (Before Sunrise/Sunset). Of note is the inclusion of Jeffrey Wright, who plays Murray's neighbor and friend, Winston - he does a great job here, as he seems to do in every role he takes.

I, too, don't want to reveal any of the plot elements, because half the fun of watching this movie is trying to figure out where it's going to lead next. It might be too slow paced for some of the crowd here (hint, no gun play or car chases - though there is some brief nudity) but it's a well crafted film, and I'm sure most of you will enjoy it.

I rate it 4 out of 5 steamrollers

Watched this last night as I'm a huge Murray fan (especially after Lost in Translation) but I really have to say I thought this film, whilst showing promise, ultimately failed to deliver.

It's slow pace always left you waiting for some explosive conclusion, which never came, leacing me feeling a little confused as to what the fuck the end actually meant.

I liked the plays on social discomfort and emotional confusion and the general texture of the film, but I felt that overall, it really didn't live up to it's own slightly self absorbed hype.

A film that COULD have been infinitely better than it was. Sadly.
