Post by Nick »

Short clip.

This is not new, but not enough people know of this guy, which is just fucking horrific.

Weird, works for me.

You can alternatively just go to http://www.thatvideosite.com and search for Bill Hicks.

Either way, he's funnier than anyone about today and well worth checking out (ie check out everything you can!)

I didn't click on the link because of bandwidth conservation at work, but does Midnyte's http://www.howiemandel.com link go to the site of "comedian" Howie Mandel?

I liked Howie Mandel when I was a kid.
That 'blowing up the latex glove on his head' bit was funny... when I was 12.

Bill Hicks was a great comic. I wouldnt say hes the funniest. Ide pick Chris Rock, Dave Attel, or Jim Norton over him anyday.

I respectfully and totally disagree, the mans message and comical timing, expressions, individuality and courage utterly destroys pretty much every other comic.

Not to mention most of them plagerise him at every opportunity.

"just imo"

He does other stuff now:)

Most recently he had a show called Hidden Howie: The Life of a Public Nuisance. Pretty damned funny, if you like Curb your Enthuisiasm.

bill hicks was pretty funny, but way overrated among self important yuppie mongs and college kids who think they are smarter than they actually are. he had an annoying way of pointing out the radically obvious and making fun of it.

he died fairly insane and ranting about the government. it's weird how so many stand up comics have this dark, weird personality.

Yeah I guess you could call the likes of John Cleese and Billy Connelly and Maynard Keenan "yuppies or college boys who think they are smarter than they are".

i'll admit, i have seen stand up that has made me laugh a tiny bit more than hicks.

but the fact that he can essentially preach his message, really gets you thinking, and has u laughing your bojangles off the entire time means he takes his place among the comedy greats in my opinion.

he was and is a legend.
