Yes, the point was about hand guns which are used specifically to kill humans. If the manufacture of hand guns was restricted to the military and police only, within a generation you could conceivably be in a much better situation. This is not about "Gun Control" but about hand gun and machine pistol control. Yes there will always be the wack job in the tower with the scoped rifle, or the nutcase at the bank with automatic assault rifles, but by and large I would submit that the majority of murders etc. occur with smoke coming outta the barrel of a hand gun.
