Kelsey Grammer's been cast to play Hank McCoy aka Beast.
Masterful casting imo.

That's a pretty cool choice. Beast is a brainy well spoken furball.Animalor wrote:http://www.superherohype.com/news/featu ... hp?id=3023

"And movie three features Angel, Beast, Kitty Pryde and Juggernaut"
I hope they choose well casting for Kitty Pryde. Great character but is supposed to look rather normal. If they get some breast enhanced woman with a plastic face, they don't get it. (can always introduce some other characters for visual appeal)

Doesn't the 'climax' in that movie go on for like, 65 minutes or so?Voronwë wrote:to be fair, I only watched 15 minutes of it on HBO, but it was the climax. and it was stupid.

I mean, I liked it and all, but Cripes on a Cracker...

X2 was great! You don't know wtf you're talking about
Magneto escaping his little plastic prison was fucking sweet. So was wolverine going ballistic and killing a dozen soldiers. The subtle and continued use of Mystique was constantly entertaining. I think it had everything an X-Men movie should have.

Oh yeah, they are doing a Wolverine movie and also a Magneto movie / spin-off. The Magneto movie will revolve around his transformation from childhood and optimistic young man, into the brutal "man vs. mutant" guy that he is today. Highlights would include his friendship with Xavier and clash of ideals. McKellen says he is onboard if needed, but thinks it would only be a cameo role as the older Magneto.

The best part of X2 was the Deathstryke v. Wolverine fight.

You aren't kidding when you say you caught the end ;P That's basically just the standard superhero posedown at the end of the movie. Ignore it, the rest of the movie was excellent. Yeah, Voro, watch the first 10 minutes and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. Dregor isn't kidding when he says "<3 Nightcrawler".Dregor Thule wrote:You aren't kidding when you say you caught the end ;P That's basically just the standard superhero posedown at the end of the movie. X-Men, Xmen 2 are the best comic hero movies ever IMO but the first Spiderman ranks way up there. His origin played out very well on the big screen and the acting was first rate.Xzion wrote:when i was a little kid i was never really into comic books so my opinion isnt as informed as the rest of you....but of all the ones ive seen the Xmen series (mediocre imo) is the best comic book movie i have seen, all of the others, specially spiderman blew...il watch it and il most likely be entertained, but im not expecting anything spectacular

He's too thin for Juggernaut. He's supposed to built like a...juggernaut isn't he? I'm sure they'll make it work fine, but I would have thought some big burly dude would play him. He's deffinately got that badass attitute for Juggernaut though.

I liked Xmne2, I dont think I would if Nightcrawler wasnt in it. I love him and Alan Cummings. I went to imdb to look up Xmen 3 and found that Maggie Grace is listed as Kitty Pride, Im not familar with that Xmen character there wasnt a head shot but you can see her in the Photo Gallery,
Was Kitty a blonde with big boobs, maybe its the dress?
http://www.imdb.com/gallery/granitz/267 ... ,%20Maggie
Anyways that was what I saw on imdb can change Im sure

Voro:
Here's the opening Nightcrawler scene the posters above were referring to.
Thanks to the help of:
DVDshrink (Re-authored and ripped chapter one from my original X-Men 2 DVD)
Virtual Dub (extracted AC3 audio from .vob file because Dr. Divx didn't recognize it)
AC3tool (extracted wav file from ac3 audio file because ripped audio volume was too low)
CoolEdit 2 Pro (boosted audio by 25db)
Dr Divx Pro (combined ripped avi video with wav file)
What a bitch to make a short clip from a DVD. It's almost perfect but there's a slight ms audio delay that I said "aww fuck it" like that guy with the cool wookie costume and cheap mask.
Here it is:
Opening X-Men 2 Scene 3min27sec ~27mb
It's in AC3/Divx so if you need the filters go here:
http://inmatrix.osnn.net/ac3filter_1_01a_rc5.exe
If you need the Divx codec (any self respecting pr0n watcher should already have this) go here and get the free one:
