A Pickering woman is accusing comic Bill Cosby of sexual assault. The unidentified 31-year-old woman claims she was drugged and fondled in the entertainer's suburban Philadelphia home a year ago. At the time, she worked at Temple University's athletics department. Cosby's lawyer, Walter Phillips, says the woman's allegation is ``Utterly preposterous.'' and adds he's optimistic no charges will be laid. The woman's complaint was forwarded to Philidelphia cops by Durham Regional Police just over a week ago.

A second woman has joined the Pickering woman in accusing Bill Cosby of drugging and groping her. The California lawyer claims that the legendary comedian assaulted her about 30 years ago. Tamara Green says she didn't go public because Cosby went to visit her young dying brother in the hospital shortly after the alleged incident. Green says she's speaking up now because she felt doubt was being cast on the Pickering woman's story, whose allegations are under investigation. A decision on whether Cosby will be charged is expected some time this week.

/sigh

I sure hope this is all bullshit.

You know, I think it is... From what I can tell of Cosby's real personality, I doubt he's guilty.

Jackson on the other hand...

Actually, I thought he's been accused of this type of activity more than once before. It may be going back a few years but I could have sworn I've read something to that effect before.

my boss thinks its true, and follows it a bit more closely being African American himself.

he was saying that when Bill's son died in the 90s, allegations of some sort of out-of-wedlock child happened to surface at the same time.

Cosby isn't that nice IRL. I remember being told by a friend that worked at Harrahs Casino, when I lived in Reno, that Cosby was the cheapest celebrity (read: zero tips for anything during his comped stay) that the Casino had stay there and basically that he was rude to the employees.

It doesn't make him a groper but sheds some light on his personality outside of his TV persona which I find irritating as well.

Just saw the Fox interview with the second woman (30 years ago) and listening to her explain what happened, I cannot say that he did it. She talked about being drugged, and she said that because of the drugs she did not know how loud she was talking when she told him to stop. That makes it hard to know whether or not she DID tell him to stop. She made several comments that gave me that same impression.

Also, her reasons for coming out with it now are just silly. She came out with her story now to help the other woman.....um...ok.
