I wouldn't really classify Small Chaotic Gods of War as one of the really early guilds. They started up just a bit before Kunark if I remember right.

Unforgiven wasn't really among the first; not even top 100. They came out about a year after release, Frozboz and some other dude co-led them and they basically jsut kissed FoH ass and rode their coat-tails. Wasn't suprised when they folded about 4 months later; but they had some good folks and I had some close friends from among them

You guys are all forgetting one of the big ones, from perhaps the first couple months of release. I'll just say the abbreviation and see if you guys remember

Order of the Wyrm and Lost Children of the Xenocide were both in the first 3 or 4 months of EQ.....

My first two guilds... which I interchanged between for about 2 years....

Oh, and before the Saryn split... Unforgiven broke up and became Blood Rain.... IIRC that was the first major server guild to break up and turn into almost the exactly same thing with a new name.

Oh, and who was the fucker that ran Negaverse?... or one of thier officers... the first time that fuck KS'd me it was at the Nybright camp in LF.... later the asshole KS'd the list at the last Drezelna camp the day before the patch to take out the camp.... that person should die IRL!!!!!

Depends what you mean by "early" - I see a lot of guilds here that were started 3-4 months in which is when Small Gods were started.

Somewhere around July 1999 (~2.5 months after release) but well before kunark came out.

i liked that guild. i imagine if it was never disbanded by the guild leader i'd still be in it.
