Bush falls off bike, gets scraped up....this is news?

Why do we care about this? What did this bump off of the front page links at CNN?

Doofus was probably trying to ride his bike and chew gum at the same time - one of his advisors should have told him that was beyond his capabilities. (yes, I know it says he had a mouthguard, I'm just being flippant.)

He fell off a Segway too; and having ridden on one over a dozen times I can attest that it is almost impossible to fall off a Segway even if you were purposely trying to. Nobody knows for sure exactly how the president managed to tip a vehicle that is scientifically designed and proven to be untippable, but he managed to fuck it up anyway.

It's newsworthy because it's just more proof that Bush quite literally cannot do anything without fucking it up.

Bush intentionally fell off a Segway to make them look unsafe. Same thing with the biking "accident". No way is he going to let any non petroleum powered vehicle appear acceptable for the masses to use.

You would prefer instead, a return to the internal colon maps we had of his dad?

Hopegully he'll fly a hang-glider and fall off one of those to show that point that airplanes are better, and that he's the dumbest fucking presidents we've ever had.

Segway is a lot faster than walking and does increase productivity for jobs where there is a lot of walking involved. the problem is that the world isnt built for segways.

Its a shitty alternative for excercising but if I had a job where I was always walking such as in a huge warehouse or patrolling, it's great.

Anything that belittles or discredits Bush is news.

At least to some media outlets.

JESUS FUCKING CHRIST

When are you going to realize it isn't just Bush. It doesn't matter WHO the president is, or WHAT party they are. You're seeing a 'more liberal slant' in the media as you put it, because there is a conservative president. When Clinton was getting blasted for his blow job and lieing about it, you know what... I didn't hear you crying about how unfair it was that the conservatives were blasting a liberal president...

Because you are fucking biased, and therefor you can't recognize when something is biased for you, or neutral, but only against.

AND YOU FUCKING PISS AND MOAN LIKE A BLEEDING GOD DAMNED PUSSY. Jesus christ, do you ever stop.

Truant, I sense much anger in you. Let my God shine His light down onto your soul to rid it of that hatred. Only through the faith in His love and a cup of funny tasting Kool-Aid can we overcome our differences and live in a state of perpetually ignorant bliss.

I remind you Truant that if it wasn't for conservative media, Newsweek was going to sit on the oral office story.

I also remind you that Fox News was born because Rupert Murdoch noticed a void in the media news arena for conservative viewpoints.

Fox's existance is directly related to the liberal bias back then.

The big scandals of Clinton were downplayed by the liberal press and only came to light because of emerging conservative news sources.

This is nothing new. It still continues today. Only today the conservative side is more established.

It was news when Kerry fell off his bike, it was news when fucking Madonna fell off her bike. People are fucking stupid and apparently like it when celebrities fall down, I guess it makes them feel better about working down at the plant or something.

You forget that people actually buy magazines that alternate between a different Ben and JLo, Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz, or Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore story ever issue.

I do agree Sylvus there is an element of fame or such to anyone who holds the office of president.

As such anytime the most powerful person in the world falls off his or her bike, it will make the news.

Not just people...millions of people...

In fact millions of people will tune in to watch totally unknown people fall off bikes...being hit in the testicles is also quite a crowd pleaser...

Hell I'm just waiting for the 24/7 Car crash channel...

Well,
I have to agree with Adex here. Bush is getting a lot of bad press. Hopefully after Nov 4th all that bad press Bush is getting will be gone.
