Well I be damned.....

My co worker has the cheapest nokia cell phone on the market.

Last night his cell phone accidentally went through a complete cycle in the washing machine including hot water, soap, and bleach.

The damn thing works without missing a beat.

......And it's rather clean.

That's what I call engineering.

A friend of mine dropped her erickson phone on the driveway (didnt notice), ran over it with her car, then later that day it got rained on.
The LCD screen had to be replaced, but other than that it still worked perfectly. I am amazed at how those things hold up :P

I have a free flip phone from verizon - model VX10 - anyways, I've dropped the thing, I throw it, I kick it, I hit it, it works. I drop it in the jacoozi, it works. I drop it in the deep end of my pool, twice, and it works. I drop it in boiling hot spaghetti sauce, and it still works. I run it over with my car, IT STILL WORKS. Most resiliant phone ever.

Use your phone while out to eat with me, I guarantee it will not work again.

I dropped my cell phone in the wash and then the dryer... and then it fell out of my pocket in the street and sat overnight in a rain-soaked gutter... then I got angry and threw it at a wall once...

Still works. 100%.

Samsung makes a mighty resiliant phone.

This is a perfect time for a fly to land on these super cell phones and it explodes.

The irony card.

Spankes, that was YOUR ass with my phone, and I called you repeatedly. Remember? You loved it, it was great fun for like 4 hours that one night.

I've had a Mot V60 since they came out, my first got broken when it feel off the belt clip opened when it hit the drive way and I stepped on it carrying 100 lbs of lava rock for the flower bed. Once I got it replaced and except for that I've kicked, dropped etc... and they still work great. Recently Joseph has taking to playing with my phone at night, as he is teething I've noticed some bite marks on the plastic recently and this morning there was still drool in it from the night before... worked just fine though :) ... of course I wiped off the drool first though...

I'm happy with my Samsung. I drop connection all the time and no one can hear me but it's nice and small and fits in my pocket.
