not contesting your point, but odds are if a guy has been hit by a couple rounds from one of the guns on an apache, it might be the best thing for him is one or 2 more if the first 2 didnt finish him.

Not to be inflamatory, but I find it shocking that so many people have little concept of what war is about. reading about it and seeing it are so completely different aren't they?

I won't lecture, because many here know more about it than I do, some even served, but what do you guys honestly think happens out there?

That was the enemy. The enemy in war is to be killed. I think that's what they teach you.

You want horrible video, look at the folks jumping out of Windows of the World and becoming vapor upon impact. Hopefully that will stir more emotion that participants (soldiers) in a war.

Hey, in the end everyone loses. I just want my video games and family. Until those are threatened, I'll just stand on the sidelines and comment. When those are threatened, I become a member of the Ted Nugent Fan Club.

Wounded men have been blantantly finished off on a regular basis in every single war in the history of mankind. I'm not saying its right, but that the US military is no more guilty or innocent than any other armed force in any country, in any time.

Whoever says that videogames desensitise to violence has his head WAY up his ass.

=(

I don't think I could've been the one to order the shot taken or to actually pull the trigger.

Just before I read Animalor's post, I couldn't help but thinking "8 bit Planetside".

You don't leave a wounded enemy combatant on the ground alive. They could just as easily find their way to some sort of AA weapon or an RPG that could destroy the Apache.

Now whether or not those particular men were enemy combatants, well who knows. I would assume they were doing something they weren't supposed to be to receive the attention of a pilot.

I think the real problem is when the second guy does something that looks like he's surrendering (IE waving a flag of some sort). Then again he could have been doing something else. Like people have said before, things are different in war.

think you guys failed to notice on the left in that building there was a big artilary/aa gun that was showing up white, meaning it was just fired.
