Heh, couldn't happen to a nicer person. I especially like the angle that his career would have suffered if the surgery went through as opposed to getting hopped up on pain killers. He's a personality that's already established, not a voice-over person that needs it to be clear, concise, and audibly attractive. If he was launching a career as an unknown, it would be a viable reason, but definitely not at this stage in his career. As someone who has done part-time voice over work for the last 8 years, I can honestly say that he is untouchable, just like Stern or Imus at this point.
Meanwhile the amount of painkillers we're talking about him taking exceed prescribed dosages by over 10 times. Sorry charlie
