OMG that looks awesome! I haven't skied since college and now that I'm in Texas I am hoping to visit Jackson Hole or another of the wonderful ski resorts out West sometime soon.

I would love to ski Jackson Hole someday as well as Whistler in BC.
Mt Bachelor is cool because my mom lives 10 minutes away, so the 3 hour drive from Portland isn't as bad. The closest to me are the resorts at Mt Hood which is ~ 1 hour away.

Show your love for the golden state by going in a loosely clasped palm tree print button up shirt. It'll turn on all the snow bunnies who only ever see sunshine but twice a year.

Wow, what a great day!!
Blue skies and decent snow. It was like spring skiing and there were not many peeps there either! I do have a few pics that I will post later on (turns out my mom has the same camera, so will be easy to get formatted.

And...I could not have a good VV post without a super-ghey shot of me in my 80's day-glo gear....
Notice the reflection on the snow from my hot pink sticks of doom....

hoping to spend a day skiing in Connecticut when I go home for Christmas

I have never been to the NE hills, but I hear there is some pretty good skiing/boarding in NY and VT. My favorite places are all in CO, but that is a bit of a trek...
and as far as the bitchin(and misunderstood!!) 80's gear...well, I guess I will keep those until I switch to boarding or finally buy those fancy new parabolic skis...

You bastard. Looks like you had great ski conditions! Did you rooster anyone during the day? (cover an unsuspecting skier with snow on a power stop)
Canalek failed to mention that the lifts were closed

Skiing is a wonderful sport... FOR ME TO POOP ON!!!

Am I wrong in focusing more on the beer in his hands.. which looked mighty tasty... than the beauty of the mountain??
