If you are around Val Vista I suggest you head down to Elliot and go to A Taste of China...not Japanese but one of the better Chinese places I have found. Also Winnow, if you are in Tempe area then there is a Pei Wei's (PF Chang's short menu fast food) on Ray East of I-10 at 44th(?) st...give or take.
