There is a code for a multiplayer character available on the gears of war facebook page for anyone that is interested.

There are 42 reviews in already on metacritic and it's at a 91. I can tell you for sure that this game will be consuming a fuckton of my time over the coming months, I'll be going to the midnight release Monday and plan on playing all night so look me up if anyone is looking to do some co op campaign or whatever.

I'm going to the midnight release for this by the way. If anyone else is that pathetic I'll most likely be playing the campaign and will be down for some co op.

My friend is not only going to the midnight release, he's also buying the ultimate version with the giant retro lancer for 250$! I'll get it tomorrow with same day delivery from Amazon and beat single player by the weekend. I love me some Gears! Best co-op experience I have played on consoles. Lots of great memories from this series.

Playing through the campaign solo on hardcore, forgot how much I love gears.

ROFL!! WalMart Canada fucked up their flyer and had all 3 Editions of Gears 3 at 59$. There was a retraction on the website but the people manning the particular store I went to honored the flyer.

The 2 guys in front of me got the only 2 epic editions they had at that store for 60$ and I walked out with a Limited Edition for 60$ cdn.

Beat the campaign. It was awesome, they really got everything down perfect for this game. Best looking game on the 360 IMO, I didn't find myself getting caught going into cover when I didn't want to like the previous titles and the gameplay in general is just smooth. They added some cool new enemies and weapons, and I thought the story was good.

Even get to play some co op with teh stagi!

Playing through on insane. It's a lot harder than previous games, one big difference is you never go down so you can get revived, you just die. I'm going to get it though!

I really want all 1000 points for this game but the seriously 3.0 achievement is going to be obscenely hard to get, it'll probably take me 6+ months.

Just beat the campaign solo on insanity. There were a few really tough parts, the first encounter with the armored kantus being up there, but the end boss fight was obnoxious, mainly due to the (lack of) AI in you squadmates.

If you are trying to beat the game on insanity I'd highly recommend doing the final boss co op. I'm glad to help anyone that needs it.

The first DLC pack came out yesterday. Nothing astonishng to write home about. New Horde maps and new COG character models. I got the Season Pass for I was able to get it right away. Fun times.
