Free trial

Post by Gnomies »

Downloaded the free 14day trial this morning and having a blast! My Dirge is so much fun and versatile, already made it to level 16 today. Is it me or is EQ2 much easier to level up in? Looking forward to playing it the late nights I get home and having nothing to do!

It's definitely much easier to level up in, especially when you compare the higher levels to EQ1. I need to get a new computer, I'd like to get back into EQ2 a bit but I'm afraid my pc is on it's last limb!

Oh yeah, leveling is quick, and you can also turn off combat experience so you can get more AA experience from quests before they grey out and aren't worth much. Most people just grind on and worry about AAs later.

I am leveling up a Illusionist right now. Actually, would be quite a bit more ahead, but I am 3-boxing the illy-troub-warlock to see how that goes.... Had been playing someone else's illy on some raid nights and enjoyed.

Good choice on the dirge! They are some of the most-desired classes for sure due to that versatility. Most raids run with 3 and sometimes four of them (if no troub for mage group). Also, if you are into pick up groups, nobody complains about having a dirge along.

I broke down and bought the subscription .... Couldn't buy anything or sell on the AH. Level 24 currently, still having fun! I tried to enter that dungeon in Crushbone, my computer kept giving an error that I don't have enough memory? Even though my memory was fine for high end WOW raids? Weird

That is something that recently started happening to me as well. I have changed a few texture settings, and I am hoping that will fix it.

Might find some folks you remember from Veeshan here :) I'm sure they'll vouch if you'd like a friendly guild.

They invented "ignore" because of Vaemas. They made it a quick right-click menu option because of me.

If you have a fairly new Nvidia card but not a brand new one (2xx series) trying removing the Phyx stuff in add remove programs. It auto installs when the drivers do but it cause problems with my 8800 GTS 640, works just fine on the GTS250 though...
