Reinstalling

Post by Bagar- »

I've got my CDs, but I don't know where they are, and I read that you could do a digital download.

Can anyone confirm this, and perhaps give me a link?

Much appreciated.

Yep, that will (slowly) download and install the game.

This Station Launcher is telling me that I don't own Omens of War / Dragons of Norrath / Prophesy of Ro. :(

I got all of those via Digital download, however, I also got The Serpent's Spine (which I played for about half an hour) via Digital Download and it says I own that one.

I never paid much attention to what expansions it listed, but I seem to remember that it did not recognize most of them being purchased. It did not stop me from accessing the content in-game, IIRC.

The downloads are automatic, you have the expansions installed, but perhaps not activated. check your station account info on the websight and see what it says there. Did you pay to activate them? if so and they dont work /petition!

I'd come harass you in game, but Ive been on eq2 far too much, farmin shards n all.

Honestly I'd just use that Station thing to get whatever it gives you then just run the everquest.exe. But yeah logging into the website should show you what expansions you have activated.

Nah, I have all of them, I was just concerned it wouldn't install the ones it was saying I didn't have - however it appears to have simply installed everything, including the patches, so I'm actually pretty happy with it.

I, too, gave in and reinstalled. But the launch thing won't work. I've uninstalled and reinstalled both the game and the station launcher. The game just won't patch/start up. it says "Unable to load application files from C:\program files (x86)\sony online entertainment\station launcher\main" Maybe it's a sign. *sigh*

*edit* Fiddled around and fixed it. Can't believe I'll be running around Norrath again! :)

I grabbed this, again.. Seeds of Destruction all-in-one pack on Steam.

I played on an emulated server the other night and was having fun, but since it wasn't the real server, it didn't feel right.
