Hopefully it will come to console someday. Going to pass on buying it for PC.
Which platforms will Torchlight II be released on?

Torchlight II will release first on PC. Once we've shipped the PC version, we plan to do a Mac port. No console or Linux releases are planned at this time.
Sounds like I'll be saving $20!

Better than the classes in Diablo 3 more than likely!

I picked it up a few days ago. Not too far into it yet but it’s pretty damn entertaining. Your pet is also far more useful than the partners in D3 which seem to do nothing but provide unwanted aggro
Though it is odd that this has the WoW graphical look

From what I read about it, I prefer Diablo 3 over it. And Diablo 3 has some serious fucking flaws.

So I got bored with the current crop of games and this was hanging around my to do list, so I dusted it off and played it. Simply put, this game, albeit, $20, puts D3 to shame. Sure, it's a blatant rip off of Diablo 2 (which is fitting, since the creaters were all Blizzard North folks), but they were able to execute something that hasn't been done since Diablo. The sheer amount of game you get for the cost is staggering.

The cinematics are expectantly cheap but, I found out, I'm not really concerned with the story at all. The game is a dungeon crawler that is just super fun to play. The pets are great, and the fishing aspect as it relates to them is a really neat idea. And the pacing of this game is what really sets it apart for me. It's almost arcade like. Again, spending $20 probably gave me lower expectations and this has definitely paid for itself.

It is a very easy game in normal mode, and when you get four people going at once, it actually gets really tricky and fun.

$9.99 weekend Steam deal. Downloading now. Seems like a pretty swinging deal.

I wouldn't call this a 'gear grind' game at all.

This game is fun as hell. Best Diablo successor yet. Rather than trying to become the next Korean esport or redefine the genre, it is what it is.
