Lucy Show....I wore out the cassette of Undone. I ended up burning it to CD later. Mania was not as good, and Bandola's solo CD was weak, but Undone is a classic album. Sort of Cure mixed with Echo.
When I was younger, I used to think that the world was doing it to me and that the world owes me some thing…When you're a teeny bopper, that's what you think. I'm 40 now, I don't think that anymore, because I found out it doesn't f--king work. One has to go through that. For the people who even bother to go through that, most assholes just accept what it is anyway and get on with it." - John Lennon

I love Stevie Nick's voice. Her home is in Phoenix!

Stevie Nicks - Edge of Seventeen (Live/1981)

----

Very old 1975 footage of Fleetwood Mac

A 27 year old Stevie Nicks just starting out. (didn't know she was born in 1948!)

You hardly ever see Stevie's body but you can in this one and she looked good in her youth!

Fleetwood Mac - Rhiannon 1975

Her voice needs some fine tuning still in 1975 but she gets it rolling around the 5 minute mark. Great last 90 seconds to this one.

And she still had her voice in 1997 closing in on 50.

early INXS > U2 (IMO)

Shame about lead singer Michael Hutchence though:
On 22 November 1997, Hutchence was found dead in a Sydney hotel room under suspicious circumstances. The coroner who performed his autopsy ruled his death a suicide. Some speculate his death was actually an accident, the result of autoerotic asphyxiation.
I guess that's a good way to go but it's not worth risking your life over.

I don't know... could there be a more embarrassing way (if not for you then for your surviving family) to depart this world than accidentally ending it all while fucking yourself?

Was Michael Hutchence married?

I know he went out with Helena Christensen for a long time, not sure if they were together when he died.

If they were, his death must have been accidental, because no one who had her could want to commit suicide.

Sunday, bloody Sunday, blah blah blah.

Bono should have been the one to check out of this world via autoerotic asphyxiation.

His humanitarian efforts are a sham!

Hey, I'm no fan of Bono. Sunday Bloody Sunday is still one of the best tunes of the last 20 years.

And INXS? wtf man!

life in a northern town was always a big crowd pleaser. I honestly never met someone who didnt like that song. That Bow wow wow song in the opening post was top notch as well. As much as i like inxs, early U2 was simply amazing stuff. Gloria and unforgettable fire are just superb. I also remember loving a group called Gene Loves Jezabel.

Big fan of both INXs and U2 - can't take any sides on that debate

The Go-go's - "Head Over Heels" - my favorite Go-go's song
Devo - "Peek-A-Boo"
Toto - "Stranger in Town" - one of the best videos made in the '80s .... and yes, that is Brad Dourif, who played Grima Wormtongue in the LotR movies
David Bowie - "Blue Jean"
Robert Palmer - "Simply Irresistible" Separated at birth: Robert Palmer and Greg Kinear?
The Motels - "Suddenly Last Summer"
The Sugarcubes - "Motorcrash"
The Clash - "This is Radio Clash" - great song!
New Order - "Perfect Kiss" - a bit long, but very very cool
