Does playing on Legends make you a gimp?

No holds barred discussion. Someone train you and steal your rare spawn? Let everyone know all about it! (Not for the faint of heart!)

Does playing on Legends make you a gimp?

Post by Brotha »

Curious about how people consider legends players now, even though I no longer play EQ. When I did play, I definently thought they were gimps and nothing has changed to make me think otherwise.

i wont say that it makes you a gimp.

early on a lot of gimps went to legends, and some of the stuff that transpired there has been the ultimate in GIMP-yness.

i dont really pay attention to what goes on with other servers, so dont have much of an opinion.

Do they give all the warriors on the server BoW's or Elemental loots? That might make them gimp-y if so.

I don't think it qualifies those people as gimpy. They decide to pay a higher amount of money for "better" customer service. Who gives a shit? They still have to kill the same uber mobs with the same level of difficulty.

Sorry, I apologize. I didn't read it right and missed how one can get 'u two' from the subject line. I wont make that mistake in the future.

BTW, it's 'you' not 'u'

Yes Legends people are gimps.

And so are people that continuously make snotty comments about issues that should have been dropped long ago.

Actually that wasn't directed at you, I was only farming (yeah... that's the ticket), but shucks... if the shoe fits... shove it up your ass.

What's the matter Aslanna? Did you run out of GM's, congressmen and/or sentators to write to about that horrible injustice that changed the landscape of gameplay on Veeshan virtually overnight?

Never. You are my inspiration. I seek to channel your wisdom and self-confidence. Using a snippet of one of your intellectual gems brings me just a little closer to my god.

Of course it's not like you're the only one to use that quote lately although you'd like to think otherwise apparently. I forgot VV revolves around you.

Edit: It was the largest picture of the Nile river I could quickly find. It was placed there to specifically disrupt the thread. At 1600x1200 it doesn't affect me.

On my other laptop running at 1024x768, most images placed in posts affect me.

I don't think it makes them gimps. I think it makes them fools. Spending that much money a month for EQ. Ok, let me change that. They are Rich fools. As the old saying goes, "A fool and his money are soon parted".

Personally, I don't have a problem with people playing on Stormhammer. Of everything, the frequent server resets instigate the most jealousy from me, but no big deal, really. Although, I think it is lame that people abuse the Stormhammer system to transfer items to other servers and that type of thing.

Edit: There are some really retarded people on Stormhammer, though. You know, the ones that jump out of the woodworks everytime someone mentions the server, and go berserk flaming wildly.

I don't think she was defensive at all, but she'd have every right to be considering people who won't let go of a long dead issue are apparently still stalking her and beating the dead horse.

Stalking her? That's quite an imagination. I was simply wondering what I would name my BoW if I had one.

I don't think playing on Legends makes you a gimp per se. I think it makes you stupid for paying $40 a month for about the same level of customer service you got before Verant got rid of server GMs. It seems to me that they are paying for a CS enforced spawn rotation and stupid dynamic quests every few months.

In my time back in Norrath over the past month, I have come to one conclusion: Everyone who plays EQ is a gimp. Oh! and to you f*ckers not playing anymore: well, you are gimps too, by past association. Pity all of us.

I need to take up a less addictive soul destroying addiction like heroine or something. *sigh*
