Making a Stop in Toronto

Post by Chidoro »

Part of the family vaca this summer, we plan to spend a few days in Toronto. Pretty unfamiliar with the city regarding points of interest, good hotels, etc.
We'll be coming from Niagra Falls and probably spend two or three nights in the city. It's just me, my wife and daughter who will be 7 1/2 at that point looking for ideas

Thanks. I tihnk we will end up visiting at least 2 out of 3 of those choices. My daughter is a bit of a daredevil and will go on any coaster she is tall enough to ride on.
I know we're going to see the CN Tower and I have heard the dim sum is close to or at San Francisco in quality. Probably won't have much more time than that, but it's good to know what's available.

My wife and I really enjoyed the Toronto Zoo, it's pretty big and pretty nice. The CN Tower is pretty cool, though the lines can be far too long. If your family are hockey fans, the Hall of Fame is right downtown.

Also, there was what looked like a pretty cool jet boat tour down the river near the falls, I think you access it between Niagara and Toronto, in/near Niagara-on-the-Lake. We would have done it but the weather was shitty and we hadn't planned for it so our timing was off.

My kids love the Science Centre

We went about 15 times last year.
It's only 10 mins from our house. :)
