Our responses aren't towards veg*ism itself, but your hyperbole and attitude about it. Your attacking others and noting your moral superiority through not eating meat is at issue.

The "science" you use to justify your position (to yourself, no one else cares that much) is laughable on a young earth creationist "Jesus riding a dinosaur" level.

I'd eat dinosaurs if I could. Preferrably fatty and delicious brachiosaurs, not those stringy raptors.

Well, if we assume that mammoth would taste similar to elephant, then it'd be somewhat gamey and a lot sweeter than, say, beef. Going too heavy on the tannins wouldn't work (Cab Sauv), so perhaps a beefy new world syrah or zinfandel, or even better: a good Amarone.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - December 9, 2011 Salinas, CA – Pacific International Marketing (“Pacific”) is working with the Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) and California Department of Public Health to coordinate a recall of Cilantro for potential contamination with Salmonella. FDA has advised that a sample of Pacific Cilantro has tested positive for Salmonella. A total of 6,141 cartons of Cilantro are being recalled.

Salmonella is an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy persons infected with Salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. In rare circumstances, infection with Salmonella can result in the organism getting into the bloodstream and producing more severe illnesses such as arterial infections (i.e., infected aneurysms), endocarditis and arthritis.

Okay.
Salmonella live in the intestinal tracts of humans and other animals, including birds. Humans are usually infected by eating foods contaminated with animal feces. Contaminated foods are often of animal origin, such as beef, poultry, milk or eggs, but any food, including fruits and vegetables, may become contaminated. Contaminated foods usually look and smell normal and the contamination should not be expected to be visible.

Let's say this particular case of salmonella originated from a plant. That still doesn't change the fact that most cases of salmonella originate from animals.

How do you figure that? My guess is A would increase initially at least and B would remain reasonably steady once the distribution system adjusted itself to the new norm.
