I'd so love to have been there, with a mate, and these signs:

Politics aside, that crowd had the best signs ever.

I actually liked some of the ones in your pictures more than these ones:

We left the house late and drove past every station starting at the Vienna line, the bridges were full of people and every train we saw was packed. We figured f it, we'll just drive up to DC and see what happens, this was at like 10:30AM. We ended up parking at the Arlington National Cemetery and taking a cab to 7th and Jefferson, which I think was a pretty much awesome choice. We had terrible views, couldn't see the stage but could see some of a jumbotron. I didn't expect a good view of the stage anyway and figure watching it later on TV or a stream would be better anyway. The people, signs etc were worth the trip, especially for somebody who's hardly identified with anything close to a political rally/rally in general. I didn't take any pictures because my wife had the camera and she was at the museums with our son, stroller + 250,000 people = not fun.

Was that a Myth Buster up on stage in one of those pictures? Great Signs.

Can someone explain to me what this was all about? What were they trying to accomplish?
