Why would the shower ever be a bad place to fart? I mean...unless you weren't alone in there or something. By yourself in the shower seems like a great place to fart.

Cause all the ass particals end up on you. Also it is an enclosed space in which you can't really escape so you'd die on your own methane.

Well...getting the ass particles on you shouldn't be a problem in the shower...probably about the best place to get rid of them. Now I can see farting in the tub being an issue cause then you're bathing in stinky fart water (though it's still fun to watch the bubbles)

And what kind of monstrous farting sessions are you having that you'd worry about dying from the methane? Jebus...just turn on the fan

Dentist by far. Last thing you want is some dentist doing some crappy rush job in your mouth with a drill because he can't stand the stench.

Farting while running on a treadmill sucks too, because no matter how fast you run, you never get away from the smell.

Except during sex and in nice restaurants, it's always an appropriate time to pinch one off. Especially in a store with displays you can see over or in any fast food establishment.
