I'll be cheering on Memoirs of a Geisha in all of the artistic categories that it is up for. I was pleasantly surprised by this movie in general, but my first thought about it when leaving the theatre was how beautiful the sets, costumes, makeup, etc. were.

Just my opinion...I don't think they are the same person. There's a good picture of Ali G on imdb.com at an awards show where he wasn't all blinged out, and the facial features clearly aren't similar.
